Visited 2nd to 9th Dec 2021. After reading some reviews, I was slightly dreading this but was pleasantly surprised! The apartments were clean with everything you need (apart from hairdryer which you can borrow for 20 euro deposit) plus 20 for a tv remote which I seriouslywouldn't bother with. Warm but airy, lovely views over PR Harbour. Felt very safe and secure. Bathrooms are dated but although the shower looks old, was refreshing and powerful enough. Pool areas are clean but very slippy when wet. Pools are (slightly) heated. Feel cold initially but absolutely fine once you're in. I loved the small pool area but very deep if you have kids so the main pool is a bit shallower. Staff very friendly, main shout outs to the scouse lady in the bar who was lovely and the reception lady (I think was Renate) who was just fab. She organised our LF tests to be done at our room ( same price as at any clinic in PR) and printed our docs at no cost. It was stressful but she made it much easier for us. Truthfully, only downside was food. We were AI, and it wasn't awful, we always found something when we were actually there but there was very limited choice. Possibly down to covid restrictions but the food was in an outdoor section and unless you were there very early, wasn't very hot ( we were told to use microwaves if we wanted stuff hotter). Mostly food was decent quality but choice was a bit crap. Masks to be worn at all times but I'm happy with that where food is anyway! Drinks were fine, local beer and drinks lovely. No cocktails on AI unfortunately though but cheap at the Europa centre which was a 5 min walk away. Don't worry about the negative reviews. Enjoy your holiday

Just returned from a week at the colina mar, good points.. the pool area is lovely, clean, plenty of sunbeds, the hotel in general is very clean and the staff on reception especially were lovely. That’s about it for good points. Rooms, very very basic, no air conditioning which I’ve never known even in the most basic of places, no hair dryer, and have to pay 20 euro deposit for tv remote with 3 English Channels. Towels only get changed twice a week as does bedding and the towels are like hand towels, no hand soap in the bathroom either. Drinks selection is average for all inclusive I find the bar staff especially during the day to be quite rude. But in all of this the icing on the cake is the food. I don’t even know where to begin, we come down on the first morning for breakfast and everything was absolutely freezing cold, cold beans, and slimy eggs, we left and ate out. The following day after a day at the beach we arrived back at the hotel and lunch was on so I had some chicken and rice, it’s the last thing I ever ate there. I woke up the same night with crippling Stomach pains and vomiting and this Carried on right through the next day until I eventually went to the chemist to get something and the pharmacist tells me it sounds like food poisoning. I understand it’s a 3 star and I’m fine with that I don’t expect luxury on a budget but I do expect to have edible food that doesn’t make me seriously unwel. I won’t be returning to the colina mar as I think there’s plenty of 3 star hotels doing a much better job

Great place to stay.

I was there for 28 nights from 7th of November 2021. The staff were hard working and very good to the guests. The food was excellent and bar service very good. The apartments were spotless. Some people have always got something to moan about. Excellent value for money. Entertainment of some kind every night. Weather was hot and sunny 99% of the time. Lots of facilities and a great view day and night.
