Seaside Sandy Beach sits on Gran Canaria's southern point, and you can see views of the ocean from its top floors. The hotel has a prime location between the beach and the town of Playa del Ingles. It's a short walk to the bustling center, so you can enjoy a peaceful surrounding with all the conveniences of the town close by. The hotel curves around its pool area, where palm trees and shrubs provide a secluded setting. There's a shallow section for children to splash around and a separate pool for babies. Children can also get involved with entertainment organized by the hotel, which runs during the holiday season. If you'd like some relaxation time, you can head to the hotel's spa, which has a sauna and Turkish bath, as well as a number of massages and beauty treatments. The highlight is the hotel's private sea-view terraces, which you can rent to spend an afternoon lounging in its solarium and whirlpools. Inside the hotel, you'll find a Moorish-inspired décor with patterned tiling, arched windows and atmospheric lighting. Its main restaurant opens out into a terraced area which is filled with subtropical plants. There's also a pool bar and an ambient bar where you can enjoy live music and shows.
The hotel is 200m from Playa del Ingles, a wide stretch of sandy beach and rolling dunes. There are beachside restaurants and bars, and a shopping center here. One of the island's most iconic sights is its desert-style sand dunes at Maspalomas beach, which are a short drive from the hotel. If you're looking for a fun alternative to the beach, there's an American Wild West-themed attraction close by, where's you'll be able to enjoy a barbecue and watch cowboys in quick-draw shoot-em-ups. The town has a vibrant nightlife, including big-name clubs in the town's shopping centre. You can also find cabaret, karaoke and Irish bars scattered around the resort.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the hotel's buffet restaurant, where they offer international and regional dishes. During the day, you can enjoy drinks and snacks from the pool bar, and, for drinks after dinner, head to the indoor bar for cocktails and live music.
Seaside Sandy Beach has a tennis court and a gym to help you stay active during your stay. The hotel also runs aqua aerobics sessions.
The rooms have spacious, airy interiors. They each come with a balcony or terrace, as well as a safe, kettle, minibar and centrally controlled air conditioning.

If you want tea and coffee there’s a form to hand into reception with your requirement. Beds comfortable. Rooms cleaned every day. Food - exceptional always lovely roast meats and themed nights from different countries. Pool area is spotless and pool bar is lovely. Lots of sunbeds around the pool. Pool towels are supplied. The staff here are lovely, so hard working and make your holiday perfect especially Marcos who sings as he works. All the staff are always smiling. We will be back
A beautiful, large hotel close to the beach
Room: Clean, very spacious, large comfortable bed, relatively quiet (for Playa del Ingles). Cleaned daily. Food: Huge selection in the buffet, alas not much variation from day to day. Note: hotel requires covered shoulders and knees at dinner. Brought one pair of pants (thank God) and had to use them every day for dinner, but that was okay. Gym: Ok. If you you do primarily cardio, it's great. If you lift weights, get a membership at a local gym for your stay. Location: Perfect. Close to the beach. All in all: the hotel might have been a little too fancy for my stay, but that's on me. Used most of the hotel's amenities, and I was really happy with everything but the non-cardio gym. The nude sunbathing terraces were intimate and comfortable. The staff were in general friendly, accessible and helpful. A very German dominated hotel, I'd guess 80% of the guests were German pensioners, so the mood was very chill and non-party like.
Amazing family friendly hotel
We were two families with young children and stayed at this wonderful hotel for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Main positives - really friendly and helpful staff. Heated swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Additional children's play area and games area. The food every morning and evening was varied and tasty. Lot's of choice for picky children to eat too! Walking distance to the beach. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. There was a gym available but we didn't use it. There was also a sauna and steam room that was a bonus. The views from the balcony onto the main pool area were stunning and you could see the sea. Amazing. The only minor negative point was the evening entertainment was loud which was not suitable trying to get young children to bed at 7.30pm. Even with all the windows closed it could be heard very clearly. It's great that entertainment is available on site but there should be a way to keep the sound level minimum for those not wanting to take part. Overall I would definitely recommend this 4 star hotel and will definitely come back.
