Walhalla Apartments a Self Catering hotel on the southern coast of the Spanish island of Gran Canaria. It's a short stroll from both the long sandy beach of Playa del Inglés and the lively Yumbo shopping centre. The whitewashed apartment building is set slightly back from the road, in a tree-covered garden. The hotel has a pool area with a main swimming pool that's heated between the months of November and March. There's also a smaller pool for children. You can order a drink from the poolside bar, and relax on the sun terrace, or under the shade of a palm tree. The poolside bar serves light snacks during the day. All of the hotel's apartments have kitchenettes with hot plates, a microwave and basic cooking equipment. You can buy groceries and other provisions at the Yumbo shopping centre. If you want to dine out, you'll be able to find a wide selection of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. If you're seeking nightlife, you can head for the Yumbo shopping centre, which has over 200 shops and places to eat, as well as clubs, bars and a famous festival stage. You'll also find plenty of facilities along Playa del Inglés beach, including a selection of bars.

Walhalla Apartments is 350m from the Yumbo shopping centre and 450m from the beach at Playa del Inglés. This is a popular beach that's part of a 6km stretch of sand. If you fancy a day trip away from the bustle of the resort, you can take a drive to Roque Nublo, which is about 38km away from the hotel. This is a volcanic rock in the centre of Gran Canaria that stands 80 metres tall and was created during a volcanic eruption about 4.5 million years ago. If you're feeling energetic, you can hike or climb to the top, but it's also possible to drive there.

During your stay at Walhalla Apartments you'll be able to get can get drinks and snacks at the poolside bar during the day, and cook in your apartment's kitchenette. Alternatively, the restaurants and bars of Playa del Inglés and the Yumbo shopping centre are a short stroll away.
