Salobre in May 2022

Just back from a wonderful relaxing week. Our 5th visit, staff were attentive and friendly as ever, we enjoy a quiet stay so suited us perfectly. Special mention to Yanni (apologies for the shortened version!), Ivan, Michael and Veronica for the service they gave us in the restaurant, and Andres and Beatrice on reception. If you want relaxed, informal break, then we would highly recommend. Architecture is maybe a little minimalist for some, but we think is fits in with its surroundings beautifully. Golf course looks in good condition, and certainly not overplayed !

We regard ourselves as pretty well travelled and are always really impressed with this hotel. Many positives, - staff are really friendly and helpful - the architecture and associated interior designs are fab. - rooms are very clean and comfortable. - wonderful golf course - bars and pools are varied and all great. - scenery is stunning. - buffet breakfasts are nice. On the downside - evening buffet is interesting and not always good, but it’s what you would expect for the half board price. Always good alternatives in the restaurant or Casa Salobre a short walk away. All in all , got to give it a max.

Third visit to fabulous hotel

This was our third visit to the hotel and our first holiday abroad post Covid. The Salobre is definitely our favourite hotel. There's just such a feeling of space and calm. A perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We love the Sunset pool area (adults only), with the infinity pool, lots of different areas to sunbathe, where you never feel crammed in. The views are amazing. The bar does great cocktails. As the hotel is on a hillside, there's also pools on other levels. The design of the hotel is great and the planting is excellent - lots of tropical plants and cacti. The staff are very friendly and service is great.
