Hotel Parque has an ideal seafront location in central Las Palmas, near the historic areas of Vegueta and Triana. It offers good-value accommodation and free WiFi throughout the property.The hotel is set in the heart of Gran Canaria's capital city. It is just 100 m from the main bus station. This gives good access to the airport and other parts of the island. Parking is available upon request.Rooms at Hotel Parque are simple and comfortable. They all have air conditioning and a minibar. They have an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.The hotel has a restaurant, with views of the sea and San Telmo Park. There is also a café, serving light snacks. A private car park is located 100 m from the property and is available for a surcharge.Las Canteras Beach is 5 km away. The area around the hotel has many historic buildings. There are also many shops, bars and restaurants. This is our guests' favourite part of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, according to independent reviews.

Newly renovated, excellent location

The Parque was closed for a long time for complete renovations. While the lobby seems unchanged, the hallways and rooms have been completely redone. I checked in a bit after noon and was received by a friendly receptionist whose English was adequate but not fluent. I got a room on the third floow, and while all rooms seem to come in different sizes and forms in this old building, the one I got was a bit larger than average and even had a balcony – very nice. The room was definitely of good size for a three-star, and in impeccable condition. The bed, however, was a bit too soft to my liking. It consisted of two single beds put together. There were sockets by the bed for charging your devices. There was a desk and chair, a safe and a stocked minibar. There would have been room for a coffeetable and an armchair, yet there were none. I asked for a luggage rack, but none were available, either. The A/C was efficient and wifi was free, fast, reliable and unlimited. Had the room not been so sparsely furnished, I would gladly rate them as a four-star. The bathroom was of good size and in pristine condition. All bathtubs are gone with the renovation, sadly, so there was only a shower. Both a handheld as well as an overhead shower were available, and water pressure was excellent. While I understand the hotel can save money by installing wall-mounted containers of soap, shower gel and shampoo, I do not like these as they are not tamper-proof and I’ve read too many stories of people entertaining themselves by adding questionable fluids into these. Single-use minibottles would be a lot more hygienic. I did not try the breakfast this time, but in the past, it has been good and the selection great. The price would have been 10 EUR. Late check-out would have been available, too, for the reasonable price of 15 EUR until 2 pm or 25 EUR until 4 pm. One day, it was raining and I asked for an umbrella at reception. They had run out – might be a good idea to stock some more… The hotel enjoys an excellent location in front of Parque de San Telmo, close to shopping and restaurants and within walking distance from Vegueta. The bus from the airport takes 20 minutes and stops opposite the hotel. I would say the hotel is well worth its three stars, but the rates have gone up and it now feels a bit overpriced. I paid 100 EUR/night without breakfast. On the other hand, they were fully booked for at least one night during my stay, so in that respect, I guess the price is right. I will definitely be back again.

Excellent staff, exceptionally clean, immaculate condition, superb breakfast on the 6th floor overlooking the park and sea. We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful hotel. Adjacent to the principal bus station where it is possible to get a bus to all part of the island

Beautiful hotel in the heart of san Thelmo park. Easy access and lovely staff. Especially Jessica and Ely both working in the reception. Lovely ladies who were extremely helpful and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. 10/10. The room was spacious and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was great too.
