Coral Cotillo Beach is a family-friendly hotel on the north coast of the island of Fuerteventura. The hotel is steps away from Playa de los Lagos, a sandy beach that curves around a small bay. It's a short walk to the village of El Cotillo where there are shops, restaurants and bars to explore. The hotel is built in a modern style, with pillared arches and open balconies. Coral Coral Cotillo Beach is arranged over two buildings that have an outdoor pool and sun deck at their centre. There's a separate, shallower pool where kids can splash and play. While you're relaxing by the pool, you can grab a drink or snack from the pool bar. You can also visit the buffet restaurant, which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You'll find Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. Indoor and outdoor activities are arranged every day to keep the whole family amused. Entertainment for children is also provided five days a week. If you like to stay active while you're on holiday, you can enjoy a game of basketball, or make use of the hotel's multi-sports court. For something more relaxed, you can try your hand at darts or a game of pool.
Playa de los Lagos is a 200m walk from Coral Cotillo Beach. You'll find a supermarket 50m away and an arcade of shops at the front of the hotel. As well as places to eat and drink, 200m away in El Cotillo you'll find a beach, surf schools and a gallery. There's a water park in Corralejo, 20km from the hotel, with slides and splash pools for all ages. The natural park at Corralejo, 26km from the hotel, is known for its expanse of sand dunes and white-sand beaches. Or, if you fancy a day trip, you can drive 35km to Puerto del Rosario, the island's capital.
At the buffet restaurant, you can enjoy a range of international and local dishes. When the weather's fine, you can eat outside on the terrace. As well as the pool bar, the hotel has a main bar that serves cocktails and a selection of Spanish tapas.
The club at Coral Cotillo Beach will keep children aged 5-11 entertained with activities such as face painting and crafts. There's also a kids' disco.
Each of the rooms has a balcony or terrace. They also include satellite TV, Wi-Fi and a ceiling fan. Cots and safes are available.

Great Short Break
Immaculately clean hotel. Great pool area and gym / games facilities. Easy walking distance to the town, and didn’t even notice the building work just along the road from inside the hotel. Roof top restaurant wasn’t open at this time of year. But food in main restaurant was excellent (we ate breakfast in the hitel every day).
Amazing hotel and fab breakfast
First time doing a winter sun break and first time in the canaries.. This hotel is excellent, in great location with modern tasteful decor, friendly staff, very clean and lots of amenities incl well equipped gym, boule piste, tennis, covered football, climbing wall, pool bar with snacks. Pool area was great with lifeguard, regular sunbeds and balibeds, water takes breath away when first get in but warmer once in and moving. Unfortunately wrong time of year for the evening entertainment room and the rooftop bar. I have to say that we tried out all the breakfast selection and could complain about nothing, super amazing choice (hot buffet, cereals - homemade granola was yummy, cheeses and meats, breads, selection of spreads, fresh cut fruit, yoghurts and selection of toppings. Sweet corner with doughnuts, biscuits, croissants. Several vending machines with various coffees and hot chocolate. Also fresh juices, water and prosecco!) and we found no issues with food temperature as previous commenter and yes there is a microwave available if its not hot enough for you. Went B&B as we like to get out and try restaurants but heard guests with varying comments about evening food in hotel, one couple said they enjoyed it and plenty of choice and another couple saying it wasn't great. Our favourite restaurant was the Argentinian steak house, its nothing much to look at but amazing food and they know their cuts of meat if you're not sure what to go for - turn right out of hotel straight along road a short distance and you'll see it on opposite corner, pizza/pasta next door and a burger place on other end of that block also good. Also loved the bakery just diagonally across to the left towards beach from hotel, became a habit visit in the afternoon. If you want to explore the area the picturesque harbour is lovely with several restaurants and very popular area for the stunning sunset. There's some ruins further along by a small marina and more restaurants. An old Fort tower with a museum but not open the day way went, further along from there is amazing beach which was full of surfers and surf schools. Going the other direction out of hotel and a 3 mile straight flat walk across beautiful beach and old roads was the lighthouse, again museum not open the day we went (best look up these places first if you want to see inside). Also bus stop directly behind hotel where there's an old church square, get bus to Corralejo (v commercial) in about 30-40 mins for 3.10euros each. Lots of places in el cotillo to hire bicycles etc. Shops in village are mostly surf wear. Convenience supermarket just a few doors away. Very windy cooling the temperature down. During the day was able to walk around in summer clothing, cardi occasionally needed but be warned you will need a decent jacket in the evenings this time of year (not a little denim jacket as I had), especially as most restaurants al fresco dining. Oh and you can still burn in January as I found out so sun lotion needed. Excellent place to stay for a relaxing week of winter sun. Would definitely return.
