SBH Crystal Beach is a an adults-only hotel on the southern coast of the Spanish island, Fuerteventura. The hotel sits directly on the sandy beach of Costa Calma, which is known for its wide shoreline and shallow sea. Many couples, young and old, choose to stay at this hotel for a peaceful getaway in the sun. The hotel has two outdoor pools that you can use during the day, one of which is heated in the cooler months of the year. You can relax on the sun terrace and on the rooftop, and there's also a heated whirlpool. SBH Crystal Beach has a number of activities available throughout the year, including mini golf, darts and table tennis. You'll have the opportunity to take part in aerobics and aqua aerobics, and you'll find a gym next door at SBH Sport Centre that you can use if you want to work out. If you like to play tennis and beach volleyball, then the hotel also has these on offer. You'll be able to get massages during your time here, and you can also spend time in the sauna. Six nights a week, the hotel puts on different types of entertainment such as live music and professional shows.

Costa Calma beach is 50m from the hotel, and is one of the most famous beaches on the island. Bahia Shopping Centre is 1.5km away from SBH Crystal Beach, and has a number of clothing stores, cafes and bars. If you want to take a day trip, you can head to the north of the island, where you'll find the fishing village of Corralejo. Here, you'll be able to walk through the vast sand dunes of the scenic Parque Natural de Corralejo. You can also climb to the top of Montana Roja, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the island.

SBH Crystal Beach has a buffet restaurant that offers international cuisine and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's also an a la carte restaurant that serves Mediterranean food, and is only open for dinner. You can get soft drinks, cocktails and snacks at the pool bar.

You can spend the day at a nearby water park, which has many slides, swimming pools and lounge areas for adults. There's also a kids' club here.

The rooms at SBH Crystal Beach are designed in a classic style and most of them come with terraces. A TV is also provided in each room.

A perfect relaxing time

It was our 3rd visit to this hotel and again we had a very enjoyable time. Our sea view suite was excellent very clean spacious very comfortable bed patio doors onto a large balcony with loungers table and chairs and a beautiful view of beach and sea. The hotel is very relaxed adult only it is quiet and if you are wanting a peaceful holiday this would be for you. We were half board and the food as expected was a bit repetitive but was very good breakfast and dinner. The restaurant staff were attentive and pleasant which certainly made mealtimes much more enjoyable. Lovely pool area small pool which was heated and plenty of comfortable sun beds. The spa area was open on this visit although we didn’t use it it did look very good. The bar is small but comfortable and again the staff were excellent. We go for a totally relaxing week and this hotel is perfect. You could be more active the pool beach and exploring the area if you wished but if you want a relaxing holiday then we would highly recommend the Crystal Beach Hotel.

Hotel is very nice, clean, good access to the beach from the hotel, nice swimming pool with the bar. In the evening there was a live music in the bar. I was very happy with an excellent breakfast. On the other side I didn't have an internet in the room.

2 nd visit this month only with my girlfriend this time. Posted last review under West Ham . The staff were different as I think they rotate with their other hotels. Everyone was just as nice. Had a laugh in restaurant with Ibra, Eduardo and Oscar as we were arguing over football World Cup. Mara ( activities) was brilliant, got my girlfriend doing yoga and aqua aerobics. No complaints and hoping to get back February/ March
