Dunas Club

Dunas Club is an apartment hotel just outside the harbour town of Corralejo on the northeast of Fuerteventura. It's in a quiet area and has a courtyard planted with trees and shrubs. This is home to the hotel's outdoor swimming pool, which has a separate shallow area for younger swimmers. There are plenty of places to sit and relax in the courtyard, including at the poolside bar. The bar serves light meals as well as drinks, or you can eat in the hotel's restaurant, which has views of the Atlantic. Other facilities include a small gym and a launderette. If you want to cook for yourself or need a few essentials, there's a supermarket a short walk away, as well as shops in the town. The town centre and the harbour are within walking distance of Dunas Club. This part of Fuerteventura is known for its sweeping sandy beaches. As well as the local beach at Corralejo, there's a choice of others a short drive away. You may choose to leave the coast behind and take a day trip to Fuerteventura's mountains, an area popular with walkers. The old fishing village of El Cotillo is also within driving distance of Corralejo.

The hotel is 700m from Corralejo's Grandes Playas, a series of sandy beaches several kilometres long that are bordered by sand dunes. Corralejo itself is less than a kilometre away from Dunas Club. The town has both new and older areas, and the former has a variety of shops. There's a selection of places to eat and drink. You may choose to head down to the harbour with its fresh seafood restaurants, or try the traditional bars in the older part of town. Boat trips to Lobos Island, with its sandy beach, or further away to Lanzarote, leave from the harbour.

The restaurant serves breakfast, while the poolside bar offers light meals during the day. Dinner is from a menu at the restaurant. The apartments have hot plates, a microwave and a fridge with a freezer so you can prepare meals. For supplies, the closest shops are a short walk away in Corralejo.

Life at Dunas Club centres round the courtyard with its swimming pool and bar. There's also a gym and a pool table.

The apartments each have a balcony or terrace. Inside, there's a kitchenette, a dining area, a TV and a safe for your valuables.
