    Maldives weather February

What’s the weather like in the Maldives in February?

With its tropical climate in the Indian Ocean, the Maldives are a popular holiday destination all year round.  If you’re planning on visiting the Maldives in the first half of the year, February is the perfect month to go. As the driest and sunniest month of the year, it’s a beautiful time to see the island with constant warm temperatures and clear blue skies.

The average daytime temperature for the Maldives in February is 28°C, with only very slight dips at night time. The sea’s also a lovely and warm 28°C, making this the perfect time of year to go snorkelling or to learn how to scuba dive. With ten hours of sunshine every day, you’ll need to pack plenty of sun cream and seek shade during the hottest part of the day. On average there’s around 50mm of rain in February, usually  in short showers in the south east.
