What’s the weather like in Petra in October?

This means you can spend more alone time on the beach and soak up the traditional culture of the island with fantastic sightseeing trips.

    Geographical influences

Petra weather in October is very pleasant and enjoyable. The hottest temperatures last from June to September, but there’s still plenty of heat to enjoy in October. The Mediterranean climate is due to Lesbos’ location in the Aegean Sea just off the coast of Turkey. The entire island experiences a great climate for most of the year, with lowest temperatures occurring in the winter months.

October has an average temperature of 21°C, which lowers to 15°C during the night. If you’re spending a day on the beach, you can enjoy a swim in the sea with mild averages of around 20°C. There’s an increase in rainfall in October and the village accumulates 57mm of rain over the month. Despite the extra rainfall, you’ll still get to enjoy at least 11 hours of beautiful Mediterranean sunshine each day during your stay.
