What’s the weather like in Jamaica in March?
With its tropical Caribbean climate, Jamaica enjoys beautiful weather all year round making it the ideal sunshine holiday destination. In March the island’s getting warmer, with the dry season ensuring that rainfall’s kept to an absolute minimum. The sea’s lovely and warm at this time of year, so you can spend long days relaxing on the beach, splashing in the sparkling blue waters and sipping cool, refreshing cocktails on the fine white sands.
Averages
In March, Jamaica’s average daily temperature is 26°C making it an ideal time to visit if you want hot weather without being uncomfortable. With highs of 29°C you’ll still need to seek shade and wear plenty of sun cream, while the evenings are slightly cooler at around 22°C. With just 30mm of rain spread across nine days, any showers will be short-lived, making way for an average of nine sunshine hours each day.
