What's the weather like in Cambodia in April?
Located in South-east Asia, bordering Vietnam to the east and Thailand to the northwest, Cambodia has a monsoon climate with warm weather all year round, along with dry and rainy seasons. In April, Cambodia is very hot and dry, so be sure to bring high factor sun cream and a hat for your visit at this time of year. As it’s so hot, it’s best to go sightseeing in the cooler mornings or late afternoon.

In April, temperatures in the coastal region Sihanoukville reach highs of 32°C, with lows of 26°C. As it’s so hot during the day and night, you’ll be grateful for air conditioning. Further north in Siem Reap, the average temperature at this time of year is 31°C, with highs of a sweltering 35°C. With such highs and temperatures sometimes reaching 40°C, make sure you seek shade whenever possible and stay hydrated by drinking plenty of bottled water.
