Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806

What's the weather like in Kenya in August?
Kenya is a fascinating country with spectacular scenery, ranging from lush national parks to sweeping sandy beaches. As part of East Africa and being in the southern hemisphere, it has opposite seasons to the UK, and it’s the winter across Kenya in August. The weather changes depending on where exactly you go, but temperatures are generally still high at this time of year, and August’s quite a dry month for most of the country.

In the capital, Nairobi, the average temperature in August is 17ºC, with highs of 23ºC and lows of 11ºC. The city sees just 10mm of rain this month, which is much less than Mombassa on the Indian Ocean coast. You can expect 70mm of wet weather in Mombassa during August, although with an average temperature of 24ºC it’s a bit warmer here. Highs reach 27ºC, while the sea water’s 25ºC, so this is a good time for relaxing on the region’s beaches. Over in Kisumu on the shores of Lake Victoria, the average temperature’s 23ºC in August, with highs of 29ºC and lows of 16ºC at night.
