Bodrum is only 3km away from Gumbet and is great for discovering Turkey's culture and history.

An impressive 15th century castle towers over the spectacular harbour which is also home to Bodrum's remarkable Museum of Underwater Archaeology. Exhibits include collections of ancient artefacts and relics found on shipwrecks as well as the actual wrecked boats.

Out on the streets of Bodrum there are many cultural festivals which happen all throughout the year, with each festival featuring traditional folk dancing and local food for you to try.
