Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.
The currency in Lloret de Mar is the Euro. While you can take out Euros at any Bureau de Change, bank or even at ATMs, it will cost you and you’re not guaranteed to get the best exchange rates.
You may also find you end up paying some high commission fees on top, which can really eat into your holiday funds.
Most restaurants, hotels and stores will accept credit card payments (especially Visa and MasterCard), but if you want to go shopping in markets or stop off for a coffee at a small café then you’ll need some cash. It’s not mandatory to tip in Lloret de Mar, but it is appreciated, so keep some low-denomination notes to tip hotel staff, taxi drivers, and restaurant staff. Before you tip in restaurants, though, check your bill to see if a service charge has already been included.
