Cassidy's Hotel

Cassidy’s is a family-run hotel, located opposite Dublin’s famous Gate Theatre on Upper O’Connell Street. As well as being close to the main shopping streets in the city, it is located within walking distance of Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Jameson Whiskey Distillery and The Writers Museum. The number 13 bus stops outside, this route serves the number one tourist attraction in Ireland - the Guinness Storehouse.

If you like eating at less conventional times this hotel caters for your needs. They start serving the Bistro menu from midday and continue serving food all afternoon and into the evening. Here you may choose to sample prawns from Dublin Bay or the traditional lamb stew. For formal evening dining there’s Restaurant Six, where table reservations are recommended due to its popularity with theatre goers, as well as the hotel guests. Here the chef prepares specialities such as Wagyu beef, seared scallops and chocolate & caramel praline. If, after indulging in the food, you feel the need to burn off calories, then you can do so at the hotel’s fitness suite.

Rooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, a large safe (which a laptop can be stored in) and wifi. You’ll be able to order from the room service menu 24 hours a day. Heritage options are designed in a classic boutique style.
