Surrounding this 19th Century restored manor house is a large banana plantation, a green orchard and many charming corners to discover. The modern sunbeds distributed around the outdoor terraces are perfect for enjoying these refreshing lush surroundings.

The Quinta offers a freshwater outdoor swimming pool heated between November and April, with a separate childrens pool, which is located on a terrace overlooking this sub-tropical garden and the magnificent Funchal bay.

To add to your relaxing holidays there is also a gym, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and a Turkish bath. No holiday is complete without some hours of relaxation!

There is a conference room prepared with video conferencing facilities that can also be used for banquets or commercial presentations. Also, a small business centre offers guests a desktop computer, a printer and fax machine and recently the hotel has added one new facility: wireless internet access available throughout the hotel with a free 24 hour voucher for a stay of up to seven nights and a 48 hour voucher for a stay of more than seven nights. Once you have exceeded this limit or if you loose this voucher, a new one may be bought at the hotel. Private car parking is also available, free of charge.

The Winter Garden

What better way to start the day than surrounded by a beautiful manicured green garden on an outdoor large terrace sitting on comfortable wicker chairs? The Winter Garden or Governors Terrace serves a delicious buffet breakfast and provides stunning views over the bay of Funchal where you can watch cruise liners arrive.

Pr do Sol Cocktail Bar

The Cocktail Bar Pr do Sol is an excellent place to enjoy a drink while nature offers one of its wonderful sunsets. Situated high above Funchal, one of the best views of Madeira can be had from this bar. The seas calm life can be observed from here whilst delighting on a light snack and a cool drink.
