The Views Oasis

Four Views Oasis is a family-friendly hotel situated next to the rocky beach and near the centre of Canico de Baixo, on Madeira's south coast. It sits on the promenade, and steps lead down to the sand and rocky shore of Reis Magos beach. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, a smaller pool for children and a whirlpool. Set in gently sloping gardens, the building has a peach-coloured exterior, with a sun terrace overlooking the ocean. The hotel has a double-height lobby, with floor to ceiling windows. Inside the hotel, you'll find an indoor pool. Bedrooms are bright and airy, with patio doors leading onto a balcony or terrace. At Four Views Oasis, you can book a treatment at the spa, which also has a fitness, a Turkish bath and a sauna. Children can use the playground or playroom. You'll be within walking distance of Canico de baixo, with some restaurants and bars. The hotel shuttle service can take you to the city of Funchal, with its waterfront cafes, cobbled streets and souvenir shops, along with its yacht-lined marina.

Four Views Oasis is 500m from the seafront resort of Canico de Baixo. You can stroll along the Blue Flag beach or swim in the salt water lido. It's 12km to the island's capital, Funchal, where you can dine on local specialities, including Madeira wine and dishes using wild fennel. From here, you could also get the cable car to Monte, which offers views across the hillside to the distant bay.

The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, which typically includes fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, along with hot pancakes and omelettes. You'll also find a buffet at dinner, along with an a la carte lunch and light snacks throughout the day. During the evening, you can sip a mojito or pina colada from the cocktail bar.
