The Avenida Park hotel is ideally located in Lisbon's city centre, close to Parque Eduardo VII and the famous Marques de Pombal square, and just a short walk from the shops and restaurants of the city's main thoroughfare, Avenida de Liberdade. It offers 40 guestrooms, all with large windows, and some with a balcony offering stunning views over the green spaces of the park. All the rooms come with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. A full breakfast buffet is served each morning in the hotel's bright breakfast room and in-room dining is also available. Our visit to Avenida Park Hotel

Price to what you get is fair in my opinion. A room with a good sized bathroom, comfy bed and TV and aircon, It lacks coffee and tea making facilities. Cleaned every day. Breakfast, very basic, but again I paid peanuts in the package with easyjet, so was not expecting much. It filled a hole on our long walks. Staff are OK but we noticed the Portuguese are not a race that shows emotions, so don't take it as rude or indifference. Good location for us, as it gave us the opportunity to walk all over the city to the centre or outskirts where tourists don't venture. To surmise if you are looking for creature comforts, pay more and book somewhere else. If you want a break on the cheap, you will be OK, it's not The Bates Motel. It does its job well. I do get frustrated with reviews of people paying budget prices excepting 5 star service

Quiet location beside park

Hotel was clean & tidy, rooms could do with updating but comfortable & quiet area as beside the park so little traffic disturbance. THE GOOD - Plenty of hot water, good shower power & spacious bathroom, comfortable beds. Handy for getting hop on sight seeing buses, bus stops 1 street away, also up the hill at the park...... plus great view point over the city for photo's. A few nice restaurants within 5-10 minute walk We did not eat breakfast after reading reviews, Bread & Friends is down the hill & straight across the road & nice for breakfast/lunch. NOT SO GOOD Receptionists the 1st day were not very welcoming or friendly, looked like they did not want to be there. (young man with dark glasses & fair haired girl). The receptionists on 2nd day (dark hair & glasses) was much more professional, pleasant, friendly & helpful.....maybe she could train the 2 airheads! Twin bed room was not available as requested but was made available the next day. Cleaner came into room on last day at 9.30am, check out is 12pm but she apologised & left. Lift is tiny...2 people could about fit with their suitcases. Overall it was a pleasant stay, the good points outweighed any negatives.

Fail to meet the service commitment as 3-star hotel in Lisboa

I would never recommend this hotel for any leisure or business tourists. I have stayed this hotel for 3 days in June 2022 for the business trip (Total paid 170 Euro for the entire stay). My room is on 3th floor facing to the park. I was very disappointed with this hotel as they failed to meet the service commitment as 3-star hotel in Lisboa. 1. Very rude housekeeping lady staff opened my room at 10am directly for room make up while I was sleeping. 2. 2pm when I left the room, I put a cleaning signage outside the door but no one clean the room when I back at 4pm. 2. Around 4pm, I approached the reception lady and told her please clean the room, however when I back to the room at 730pm. However, no one clean the room. 3. Hotel facility is very old. Next door guest took bath or either used the Toilet, I could hear the whole night until next day morning. 4. Regarding room make up, Hotel side has no solution to help out, as they said their housekeeping already finished work and left my room dirty. 5. Frontline Management was unprofessional and unfriendly as they did not want to take any responsibility of the poor customer care and service. Upon C/O, the manager did not show to me any customer courtesy, neither apology for the negative guest experience, or neither promise for future improvement. This hotel has good location, however there were many weird people sitting at the park screamed all night. Lisboa is small and whenever you stay still can reach to many tourist locations. There are many other nice 3 stars hotel in Lisboa for example Hotel Roma. I could not able to extend due to this hotel fully booked. However, Avenida Park Hotel made me have a very poor and unforgettable staying experience.
