This stylish and charming hotel is very well positioned in the lovely city of Lisbon, just a 10-minute metro ride from the historical centre and 10 minutes by car from the international airport. The property is well located in the Praça Duque de Saldanha, where visitors will find plenty of shopping, entertainment and business options. This location is fantastic - perfectly located at the main hub of the city transport and in a quieter and more authentic (less touristy) neighborhood. Excellent value for money and 24 hour everything which is a revelation - something other hotels should take note of… Pool at 10pm, no issue!

A Nice, if Slightly Dated, Stay in Lisbon

My partner and I stayed for 5 nights. Originally booked 2 nights, but wound up extending our stay after arriving. Staff were super helpful here, with one night accidentally overcharged which they caught and refunded right away. The pros: +The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. +The location (more on this later) +The hotel's amenities The cons: -Slightly dated decor, we stayed on a floor where the theme seemed to be "Orange". Not my ideal color, but I don't live there. -Shower and toilet doors are visually cool, but functionally lacking. Shower door didn't shut all the way. -Control panel for lighting in the room was initially confusing I didn't mind these cons so much. They were very minor inconveniences for us, as we try to spend as little time in the hotel as possible while traveling. If you're someone who wants to savor in a luxury hotel room, this probably isn't the spot for you. The location: personally, I loved this location. Unless you're prepared for a hefty walk, the hotel isn't walking distance from the standard tourist areas (Baixa, Alfama, Bairro Alto, etc). However, you're steps away from the excellent Lisbon Metro and can get to those areas quickly. The neighborhood around Evolution is great. Tons of great restaurants a short walk away in Santa Cruz and exploring Saldanha is pleasant. If you're looking to be in the heart of the action and close to the sights, I'd pick somewhere slightly closer to the center. Though there was some DJing in the bar on Friday and Saturday nights, it didn't bother us on the 6th floor. We didn't eat at the restaurant or visit the bar during our stay so I can't comment on that. Ultimately, I'd stay here again. I found it more enjoyable than staying in the Baixa. Despite some of the outdated fixtures causing minor annoyance, I felt like it was a solid option for the price.

the architect of the hotel must have been a character. Very designfull. Not always practical in all ways. Breakfast was good. Service is nice. Clean overall. We had a suite with shower and toilet is a glass circle housing. Sauna, swimmingpool quite nice
