Corinthia Lisbon hotel bad service

This is 1 star service hotel Check in time is 4 we got in n checked in at 3:30 pm. And promised a room at 4:00. We asked for the room at 4:30 pm they r still checking the minibar n will not accommodate another room. 15 minutes later same thing. I ask for a different room no go. I ask to speak to a manager and no go. Another guest from our group was waiting for 4 hours. A best western would be better. Don’t go here if there’s a big group. They are disorganized. Slow and unaccommodating I cannot recommend this place.

Not what I was expecting for a 5 star hotel.

On the first day, when we got to the room, we noticed that they had not changed the toilet trash, so there were still covid tests from previous guests. The reception suggested to change the room but didn’t even apologize like if it was a normal situation for a 5 star hotel. On the second day, housekeeping left a cleaning cloth inside my boyfriend's suitcase and didn’t notice so they left it there with all his clothes which is also another weird thing since after they clean, the housekeeping manager is supposed to check if the room’s ready to occupy. I cannot say that staff was rude but they are not particularly nice, except this young girl from the spa maybe because we were a young couple too, treated us like we couldn't afford to be there? Was super uncomfortable, never felt it before. There was one time I was leaving the room and heard housekeeping manager telling a maid that she had left a door open in of the rooms - they probably didn’t think that I was portuguese but ??? Am I supposed to feel safe?? One of the days I stayed working from the room and they knocked on the door 3x (after the room was cleaned) and I just couldn’t find a reason. The breakfast was good in general but staff wasn’t helpful and some waiters did not speak english. Overall, I would say that this is a very good example of consequences due to poor hospitality salaries and I will never come back or recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Lisbon.

Well located, with dedicated staff , well maintained rooms and upscale facilities. Definitely worth it . The breakfast is wonderful, diverse and with high quality products. The room had wonderful details
