Dom Pedro Vilamoura

Dom Pedro Vilamoura is a 4 star hotel in the bustling resort of Vilamoura in the Algarve, Portugal. A pool with sun terrace and bar are located within the landscaped gardens. There’s also tennis and volleyball courts on site. The sandy beach is just a short stroll away, while a casino and golf courses can be found nearby.

Visit the hotel’s adult-only spa to feel refreshed and rejuvenated. In addition to an indoor heated pool, you will also find a steam room, a Jacuzzi and a fully equipped gym. A wide range of massages and beauty treatments are also available (surcharge payable). If you have very young children, take advantage of the babysitting service while you relax. Slightly older children can splash around in the outdoor kid’s pool.

All meals are served at the hotel’s Olivia restaurant including late lunches (until 3pm). For your dinner, you may wish to order the chef’s specialities from the a la carte menu. These include a choice of fish dishes, ranging from fresh Atlantic sea bass to octopus cataplana and sizzling cuts of steak. The delicious dessert options are international, featuring apple pie, chocolate fondant and tropical fruit.

There are two bars open from 10am to 1am serving drinks. If you book all-inclusive then the beverages from Alambique are included. Snacks and ice cream are also available during the afternoon.

Rooms are equipped with WiFi, air conditioning, a TV, a safe, a mini bar and a furnished balcony. Cots are available for those with very young children, while those with slightly older kids may wish to take advantage of the triple room option.

The centre of Vilamoura, a 500m walk away, has plenty of shops, as well as a variety of restaurants and bars serving authentic Portuguese food. The hotel is 2.5km away from the eastern edge of Praia da Falesia, a 5km long stretch of sandy beach that extends up to the fishing village Olhos de Agua. For a family day trip, there's a choice of two water parks, both around 5km from the hotel, each having a range of slides, pools and lagoons.
