Be Live Family Palmeiras Village All-Inclusive 24H
2723 reviews
Be Live Family Palmeiras Village is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort, located on the outskirts of the resort of Armação de Pêra, on the Algarve. Relax in the garden area, with its sun terrace and two swimming pools or on one of the two beaches, which are within walking distance. You can also take it easy in the spa with its sauna and Turkish bath.
Energetic guests can enjoy a game of football, volleyball, tennis, basketball or aqua aerobics. Alternatively, join one of the fitness classes or partake in a workout in the gym. For the younger guests, there is a kid's club for children aged 8-12, as well as a mini club for 4-7 year olds.
The resort has four restaurants on-site, with 3 a la carte options, including a pan-Asian which sushi and noodle lovers won't want to miss. The buffet eatery offers both Portuguese and international options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the little guests will have their own selection of dishes to relish. For a mid-afternoon drink or pre-dinner aperitif, there are three bars to choose from, with two by the pool area and one in the lobby, each serving a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. Armação de Pêra has a selection of taverns, restaurants, shops and water parks, all just a short drive or bus journey away.
Standard rooms are equipped with a 32” LCD TV with cable channels, air-con, a hairdryer and a couch (which can also be used as an additional bed.) Upgrade to a Sea View room where you will be able to take pleasure in admiring the beauty of the ocean, relaxing while listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying the calmness of this area of the Algarve. For those with multiple children, Family Suites are available for up to five guests.
The hotel is just 350m from a minimarket, which is right by the local bus stop from where services depart for Portimão, Albufeira and Armação de Pêra. Portimão is the largest town in the western Algarve, which is the ideal place for shoppers. But don't miss the beautiful Azulejo tile paintings in the Jardim 1o de Dezembro, which depict the history of Portugal. The Museu de Portimão is a must for fish lovers as you'll find out all about the town's main industry - sardines. If you're visiting Albuferia the children may twist your arm into taking them on a boat trip to see a different type of sea life - dolphins.

Lovely Place to Stay
I really liked the hotel, which was always kept clean and was spacious. It hosted a lovely mix of different nationalities/races which is one reason why I go abroad. The beach was a 2 minute stroll away, and was sandy, clean, scenic, and not at all crowded The room was cleaned well everyday, However, don't expect a fridge in your room, and you can't even hire one. You do get a mini-bar cooler, but this didn't keep milk fresh, and you can hire a kettle for a refundable deposit. There was no iron/board in the room and no desk to sit at.. Queues did form at the main restaurant, but these were often cleared within 10 minutes. There is a rule regarding leaving towels on sun-loungers, but this was completely ignored and was not enforced by staff, which was disappointing. It caters very well for children aged from 2 to 10, and there is enough available for the young teenagers to keep them reasonably occupied. Knowing all of this means that if I were to go again, and I would certainly take any child there under the age of 15, I would probably upgrade my room, in the hope of better amenities,
Would give 5* if entertainment was better
Booked this holiday a year ago and only recently read reviews before I came and was totally apprehensive about coming. I have been on quite a few family foreign holidays and this has exceeded my expectations. The cleanliness I could not fault for a min. Staff were very attentive in the restaurants. We went between the main dining and the terrace dinning. The food options were unbelievable, I have never had such a variety each night and it's the first holiday my girls (6+12yrs) were totally satisfied. My only criticism was having to set an alarm for 6am to go to the pool to put towels down to guarantee a sun lounger by the main pool and the very very very substandard entertainment at night. The day time club staff did the night time stuff some was definitely not appropriate for children(burlesque show). The daytime clubs catered mainly for French and German guests, if they was some interaction with English speaking residents then I would definitely give 5 stars. But all in an amazing holiday and would reconsider booking again.
Location of hotel
Very bad location. No public transport, no customer relation, could not get excursion guidance, very limited choice of food. No good shopping centre nearby. Could not see anybody smiling!! Will definitely not use the hotel again.
