Amazing Stay
We stayed at M29 for 2 nights in January. Upon arrival, we was greeted by Demetri who was extremely polite and helpful (during our whole stay). He explained everything with lots of information aswell as booking our trip to Auschwitz. We was kindly upgraded which was lovely, our room was very spacious with a huge bed and a lovely bathroom. Most importantly the room, and hotel, was extremely clean. The location is amazing, pretty much 15 minutes walk away from any attraction including the castle and krakow old town. The hotel can book tours such as Auschwitz, Salt Mines, Zakopane aswell as airport transfers. The company was efficient and very friendly. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, I would recommend M29 to anyone staying in Krakow. I hope to return to Krakow as it is such an amazing place and I would definitely stay at the M29.
Lovely hotel
The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room is perfect. Clean, stocked daily with water, coffee, milk and cream. The bathroom is really lovely. Very clean. Great location. Much quite than the market square which helps you get a good night's sleep if you plan to do all the visits. Lots of walking and standing.
Fabulous location but we wouldn’t stay again
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the M29 and despite all the fabulous reviews we were a little disappointed. I am going to start with the good things about the hotel …. Pros 1. Fabulous location in the Kazimierz district in Krakow which is such a beautiful and interesting area with excellent bars and restaurants. 2. The hotel room was lovely and warm which we really appreciated as it was -13 when we were there. 3. Only a 15/20 minute walk to the old town and 15/20 minutes to Schindler’s factory which we would highly recommend. 4. Only a 5/10 minute walk to the Tram stop on Starowislna (Tram no 3 will take you to Krakow Train station and is only a 2/3 stops away) 5. The rooms are clean Cons 1. We arrived after a very early start and we were given the key to our room. When we entered the room there was a very strong smell of blocked drains which was overpowering. We went back to reception with all our bags and asked politely if we could swap rooms. The staff agreed but no apology……a little disappointing 2. Breakfast was just ok…the coffee machine kept breaking down and some staff just didn’t seem interested. 3. The beds were very hard 4. No toiletries in the room just handwash and shower gel. 5. When we checked out nobody asked us if we had had a nice stay – a little disappointing So all in all I would definitely go back to Krakow but sadly wouldn’t stay at the M29.
