I was initially sceptical about this apartment after reading some reviews but honestly don't be put off ! Ok it's very basic, decor is dated BUT the location is superb and it's a great base for exploring the city. It's surprisingly quiet too given the proximity to the city center. The place it's clean and for the money it's very affordable. Ideally there would be more than 2 towels for 2 people (for 4 nights).. a stock left in the room (along with more than 1 loo roll!) but that's a minor quibble. The hotel operators should specify that the apartments are in a seperate block down the street from the main hostel building as it would not accessible to mobility impaired guests - but if it's a cheap, excellently located base your after & you don't want to spend much time in the room then it's a great find.

We arrived here after booking through Crystal Travel agency with a voucher from Groupon. We had looked at the photos on booking.com before hand but the pictures were decieving. Although it was a good location, right around the corner from the Jewish quarted and a 15 minute walk from the main square we came back the second night from being out all day to a smell of sewage in the room. The reception is also not in the same building. This wasn't a terrible stay but I would probably wouldn't stay here again for the price we paid.

Booked this hotel as a girly trip away, when on the 3rd night we arrived home after being out approx 5 hours to a flooded room. When we entered the room we opened the bathroom door as we were convinced the shower was running due to the excessive water and running water noise. When we opened the bathroom door we found under the sink pouring with water, which also left the bathroom floor very sloppy and both guests and receptionist nearly fell over onto the floor. we reported this to the receptionist straight away who also informed us a shop downstairs had complained of a leak. The receptionist advised us she will try to find alternative arrangements for us. When we went to check with the receptionist she had already booked her taxi home and informed us there was no rooms available so we will have to stay in our original room with damp floors. We explained to her that it’s not acceptable and also one of the guests has bad asthma and if we had to stay in said room it would make her asthma worse, so she informed us she will see what else they can do and come to let us know - after waiting 15 minutes we went to go and check with the receptionist, when we got there we found the reception door locked and the receptionist had gone home and left us without any other arrangements. We were also unable to find any other out of hours contact numbers for the apartments. The receptionist had also turned the water off and therefore also left us throughout the night without any access to water except our own bottled water. Very unprofessional to leave guests in such situation.
