Fantastic riad

We had a great week at Riad Catalina. The location is perfect (it's central, but quiet) and the staff are so helpful. Whilst our room wasn't the biggest, the bed was comfy and we had everything we needed. Breakfast each morning was pleasant in the courtyard. The two resident cats are cute and kept us entertained throughout the week. I would 100% come here again.

Authentic and welcoming Riad in the heart of Marrakech!

Nadia and her staff were stellar! Loved this place, which has the added distinction of having been an Amazing Race pit stop. The room was cozy, the bed comfy and the a/c worked great. The free breakfast was great, and ordering other meals gave you a delicious taste of authentic Moroccan cuisine. Highly recommended! Will definitely go back if I get to return to Marrakech!

Just Lovely

We had a bit of a disaster as when we arrived we were informed there was no rooms as they had a swimming pool leak. Nadia tried to get hold of us in advance but i hadn't received the messages. We were given mint tea and cakes whilst they located other accommodation for 2 nights. Nadia sorted this out and arranged for us to come back for our final night and offered us free dinner to compensate. When we arrived back for our final night we were offered a suite which opened right onto the garden, the rooms are basic but perfect for our needs, comfortable (if hard beds), dinner was lovely and breakfast was basic but very tasty. It is cool in the courtyard but thats because its shaded (i would imagine that would a relief in summer) so bring a jumper. the thing that made this Riad lovely was the staff and its location, perfect for exploring the city. +++NOTE you will need to walk around 300 meters to the Riad with your luggage as cars cant get through and it is cobbled, people offering to help you locate it and if someone offers to carry your bags you will need to tip them+++ Recommendation for the hotel - a few snacks and bottled water should be available to purchase for those who arrive late or cant be bothered to find a shop as its a bit of a walk to the nearest one :)
