The best way to spend January

My partner and I escaped cold London and stayed at El Miria for 1 week in Jan. It was honestly the most relaxing holiday we have had. Othman and the team were so accommodating, we could get up and have breakfast whenever we wanted and they honestly could not do enough for us. Most of our days we just spent by the pool having drinks and food. The food at the hotel is delicious and traditional but deffo recommend getting into the town as there are loads of restaurants to choose from. It’s 15/20 minutes into the centre of Marrakesh and really easy to get a taxi sorted. It was my birthday during this trip and when Othman found this out we came back and our room was decorated to celebrate, it made my day! The team were all so lovely. If you want a relaxing stay in a traditional morrocan hotel then we 100% recommend and will look to come back in the future - the weather when the sun was out was absolutely beautiful! Only thing I would say is alcohol is hard to get hold generally and expensive so deffo either bring some with you or get to a supermarket and have some in your room :)

Heaven is indeed a place on earth and its earthly name happens to be El Miria Palace, a little outside the busy streets of sunny Marrakech. We came here as a group of family and friends and enjoyed every single aspect of the riad. The breakfast was generous and delicious. The rooms were spacious enough to sleep and lounge in, beautifully decorated with impeccable style. The pool and garden area were enjoyable throughout the day, soft music setting the vibe for the experience. The whole hotel had such a serene vibe which allowed us to relax to the fullest. Every member of the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. They helped us find a few activities we could do around the city. The owner, lady Badia, was available to listen to our every concern and made sure we were as comfortable as can be. We couldn’t thank her enough. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone on the lookout for some peaceful vacation. I can’t wait to go back myself.

Second visit to El Miria Palais.

I decided to come back because I had to show my parents this beautiful calm riad. The first time I came , I enjoyed it so much. I felt a very warm welcome from all the employers and from the manager. They helped me so much during my stay and made me feel like home. So I wanted to come back with my parents . Once again we enjoyed our stay , they loved it soooo much , we had a chance to go to the hamman they have and get a full body massage wich was really good. What I ALSO loved was the moroccan food they offer at the Restaurant.We tried every tagine they have, which i truly recommend. We spent 5 days and we wished we could have stayed more since it was very relaxing . My parents want to come back and we definetly will come back. PS; TOTALLY RECOMMEND
