Kenzi Europa

Kenzi Europa is set on Morocco's southern Atlantic coast in the bustling city of Agadir. It's steps away from a long stretch of sandy beach that runs from the harbour along the length of the city. A promenade lined with cafÈs, bars and restaurants backs the beach, so you can enjoy a drink or a meal with a sea view. In the hotel's palm-lined gardens you'll find two pools, one of which is heated, surrounded by sun terraces. Children can play in a separate, heated kids' pool or in an integrated kids' section in one of the main pools. There are also five colourful water slides that the whole family can enjoy. If you're looking for relaxation, you can head to the hotel's spa. Here you can enjoy pampering beauty or wellness treatments including manicures and pedicures. There's also a sauna and a Turkish bath where you can sit back and unwind. If you like to stay active on holiday, you can work out in the gym at Kenzi Europa or take part in a game of football, basketball or tennis. To slow the pace, darts, boules and pool are all available. The hotel staff organises regular entertainment to keep all the family amused, and activities are laid on for kids.

Kenzi Europa is 150m from Agadir beach and 1km from the centre of Agadir. Set in a sheltered bay, the broad sands of the beach lead to shallow waters popular with swimmers. In town, you can experience a traditional Moroccan market by shopping at the Souk el Had, 2.2km from the hotel. Kenzi Europa is 5km from La MÈdina d'Agadir, a replica of a walled part of the city destroyed by an earthquake. You'll find a museum as well as local artists, craftspeople and performers here. You can also hike to Agadir's medieval hillside citadel that offers panoramic views of the city and the bay below.

Kenzi Europa has a buffet restaurant offering international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Restaurant staff organise regular Moroccan theme nights and outdoor seating's available. The hotel's pub is open from early morning until late at night. A short walk from the hotel you'll find restaurants serving a variety of cuisines, including traditional Moroccan specialities.

Kenzi Europa offers a club for kids aged 4 to 12. There's also an amusement park a short drive inland, with rides and activities for all ages.

Rooms at Kenzi Europa include satellite TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating. They all have a minibar and a safe and open onto a balcony.

Bad experience

Very dirty and does not have a view of the sea as they offer you... you have to pay extra for drinks during your lunch or dinner. And the employees with no smile... There is air conditioning but they do not let you use it due to a technical problem sometimes and other covid reasons other times. It is also very expensive, it is a disgrace to your money and your stay. Ultimately, waste of time and money.

***** Kenzi Europa & Agadir *****

Jun 2022 | BerkshireFamily

Was here 2 weeks ago. Firstly, Kenzi Europa is in the perfect place, under 5 mins to beach & 5-8mins to main area for restaurants & harbour etc. We were B&B & breakfast was nice (but no bacon !). IMO dont go half board, some nice restaurants along the sea front & cheaper to eat out than in UK. I recommend Rugantino restaurant & there have a tagine & iced nougat & mint tea. Be warned, there is quite a lot of building work going on all over Agadir - they are 2 years into a 4 year project to make the place nicer, new pavements etc. Dont let that put you off tho. As for tours, on day 1 or 2 of holiday Id recommend the City Tour - its only about £8.50 for 2.5hrs & they take you around the harbour, up top mountain to see views, to the market, aragon oil shop & a Mosque. IMO dont book Paradise Valley tour - there is no swimming & barely 7 inches of water & the walk to it is slippy dirt. I do recommend the fishing trips tho - ours used crab lines & you could fish & swim & then they cooked up the catch & served with salad. Enjoy & soak up the culture. And get used to not being able to window shop, just say no & all ok. Loved it & will be back in 4-5 years time. Enjoy

Lovely staff

I live in London and this was the first time visiting agadir with wife and son, and will deffinately be returning. The staff are the ones that make this hotel how it is. Can't fault a single staff. They are all cheerfull and respectfull, which was why after reading the reviews I chose to go with this hotel, and the reviews about how good the staff were didn't fall short at all, from Hakimah, Mounir, pool guys, cleaners, the servers and chefs, all very respectfull. Hotel was clean and their double bed was like a superking size which was a bonus. Location was perfect, 3 min from beach and mcds which is what foreigners look for. I had half board and both breakfast and dinner was good, they had a variety of food they cooked everyday, was always fresh and hot. Their swimming pool and water slide was nice and relaxing, my son enjoyed it the most. I spoke to Mustafa who is the manager of the hotel to give my compliments. The only thing I could think of to improve the hotel would be a set of scales in the reception, as coming here we buy alot of gifts so to make sure our luggages don't go over the weight limit. Will hopefully be returning soon. Mizan
