I simply cannot fault this hotel from start to finish. Staff are so helpful and courteous, they will do anything to assist. This was my first overseas trip since the pandemic and the hotel is spotless. I am determined to return by the end of the year. It is a great place for a short break and the rooms were so clean and tidied daily. A bit shout out to all the staff who were professional and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. Thank you.

Hotel - No air conditioning and no help from staff

My family stayed in this resort for 3 nights. All 3 nights there was trouble with the air conditioning on the 1st and 2nd floor. I had the engineer come twice to fix it and still it did not work. Staff unaccommodating and uncaring of situation. I would never recommend the Hotel Taghazout.

unfortunately, my hard earned money was wasted by choosing this supposed 5 star hotel.. I would give Hyatt place a 2 star max. We have stayed in hotels all over the world, and this hotel has provided the absolute worst customer/guest service we have ever received. I am disgusted that I wasted my money on this place. The best part about our holiday was the weather and the taxi away from the hotel. Check in took 45 mins for some reason.. with 2 young children 3 & 5 months. Once we got to our villa, that cost £3000 a week.we found we had a building site for a view. Disgusting. Stray dogs everywhere barking all night.. we asked to be moved and the next day we had a better villa. The first night was when we realised we had made a huge mistake. After a day of travelling, and finally getting settled in: we went for dinner at 8pm and could not get a table.. or the attention of any member of staff. Turns out they use the hotel as a restaurant for locals during Ramadan so paying guests had nothing left.. often we struggled to get food, which was the same EVERY night. As were breakfast and lunch. Lunch often took over 45 mins to come out.. by this time, my child was bored and ready to go. We managed to find a single waiter, Ahmed, who went above and beyond to look after us - obviously we tipped him well for his help! - breakfast was basic and extremely disappointing.. lunch was okay but obviously you have to pay for that.. Our villa was cleaned only 2 times the entire week, which is disgusting. It was also extremely basic and Only 2 sun loungers- even though it would sleep 6 adults! During dinner time, there were often no sweets at all but a few fruits that were past best - also, it appears if you are English, it’s impossible to get table service or even the attention of a waiter.. all of whom were just standing staring into space.. Often there was little hot water in the villa. Which was great when trying to shower with a child.. the service of all of the staff, except our waiter Ahmed, and also the breakfast chef, was disgusting. There was not enough staff at all. I will be pushing Hyatt for some sort of compensation for not informing us of the Ramadan dinner time scrum when we arrived or booked. Often dinner time - which their own website states 7pm, was 7:40, 7:30, 7 whenever they fancied getting ready.. guests were overlooked due to locals swarming in during the evening meals.. In a nutshell, would I stay here again, not if it was free. Would I even come to Morocco again; absolutely not due to my experience in this country. Do not stay here if you value your money, and good customer service.
