Catalonia Royal Tulum All Inclusive is an adults-only hotel on the Caribbean coast of Mexico on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen. The hotel's tropical gardens merge onto the sandy Xpu-Ha Beach, where you can sunbathe or swim in the Caribbean Sea. The hotel has an outdoor pool lined with palm trees. Whether you choose to swim at the beach or by the pool, there's a waiter service to bring you refreshing drinks and snacks. There's also a spa to visit, with a range of beauty and wellness treatments including manicures and hairdressing. You can unwind with a massage, or relax in the sauna or Turkish bath. If you're looking for something more energetic, you can work out at the gym, do aerobics or play sports such as beach volleyball. Catalonia Royal Tulum All Inclusive puts on entertainment, including daily live shows. You can spend the evening in one of the bars, or head to the hotel's nightclub. Playa del Carmen is within driving distance of the hotel, and is popular for its wide selection of lively bars and clubs, which stay open until late. Many of these are found dotted along the beachfront, so you can have a drink while enjoying the sea view.
Catalonia Royal Tulum is on Xpu-Ha Beach, 6.4km from Chedraui and 27km from Playa del Carmen. The beaches are popular for diving and snorkelling, and the area also has several caves and sinkholes 1km away that you can explore and swim in. Playa del Carmen has a long sandy beach where you can swim or sunbathe. The seafront promenade has several restaurants and cafÈs where you can have a drink or a meal. If you want to go shopping, Playa del Carmen is home to several shopping malls with well-known brands.
Catalonia Royal Tulum has two international buffet restaurants, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also five a la carte restaurants, with themes such as Mexican, Italian, Spanish and Asian, as well as a steakhouse. All the a la carte restaurants have outdoor seating.
The hotel is within driving distance of a popular theme park and adjoining amusement park, on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen.
