DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
My first impression when the shuttle bus driver dropped me off was” why am I going in through the back entrance”? After asking several locals I was pointed in the right direction. I signed in and the young guy at the desk wanted to make me wear a wristband. I strongly disapprove of dehumanizing procedures so I politely declined, he impolitely insisted and added that I could cancel my booking with my travel agent if I wished. The whole place stinks. The restaurant wouldn’t seat me because I didn’t have a mask even though the only people with masks were the staff, other than them every single person in the restaurant was maskless, so I’m not sure what that was about. There is no hot water in the bathroom. The bathroom sink appears to have someone else’s DNA in it and the tiled floor is way too dirty to walk on without shoes, did I mention it stinks? The in room tv plays a loop with a really annoying jingle that shows the resort just after it was built, before it got as dirty as it is now and it features some of the current staff presumably before they got bored looking after customers and actually did what they were paid to do. Hopefully tomorrow the next hotel I check into will be closer to their online presence than this one. The only part of this one I feel I’m going to enjoy will be checking out in the morning.
WARNING
If you enjoy hot showers, a variety of food, entertainment, modern rooms, good management service, things to do and just an all around good stay do not come here. I have complained about no hot water every day. It’s been three days. I still have no hot water. There are few choices at the buffet and the other restaurant is very small and requires a reservation. It’s hard to get extra towels. We waited over 30 minutes for a burger. One of our rooms has what is probably a 20 inch. Without access to most channels. There’s no entertainment since we’ve been here. Nothing to do on the beach. Small lobby bar. I will say the staff is nice.
Horrible Service
Horrible service. We had made our reservation for 5 days very well in advance for Deluxe Room with sea view. Also made payment in advance for the same for first night of our reservation and got confirmation for reservation over email. We informed in advance that as our flights would arrive in Cancun at 11:30pm hence we would arrive and check in at hotel at/around 12:00/12:30 mid night. Once we arrived at hotel and made the payment for rest of our stay at hotel they tell us that we don't have rooms available that we had booked in advance and we can only get very next day. When we asked for reason they give us some reason that due to some govt norms they don't have room available that we booked. They rudely tell us either you take the room that they offer or you can leave and we will cancel your reservation. These people are fraud and behave so rudely. At late in night they ask you to take your refund and leave cancelling our reservation. As didn't had any other options at this late in night we agreeed with what they offered. After all this they ask us to check out of our rooms at 11:00am next morning and get confirmation of our reservation for rest of days next day at 9:00am and check in the room we booked at 3:00pm as it's their norm. Where do I stay for another 3hrs when I have confirmed reservation for 5 nights. Pathetic service. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this property.
