Lying a few steps from Qawra beach, a long, rocky outcrop in Malta. This 4-star family-friendly hotel is conveniently positioned for exploring the island's northern coast. Guests of Qawra Palace can take part in a range of sporting activities including tennis, table tennis, mini golf and billiards. Water skiing, paragliding and jet skiing are also possible here.
When you feel like cooling off with a swim you can choose from two outdoor pools, one with a kids' section, surrounded by a sun terrace. A further one is located indoors, which also features a whirlpool. For those wanting to relax and pamper themselves, the hotel has a spa that includes a Turkish bath and a sauna. Treatments, such as massages, can also be booked here.
In the restaurant take a window seat for views of Salina Bay and the outdoor pool. Then tuck into mouth-watering Mediterranean dishes at the buffet. For drinks and light snacks there are a total of four bars on-site. The Coconut Grove is an outdoor poolside option, exclusive to all-inclusive guests. Everyone is welcome to visit Cafe Royal for Italian style coffee and a selection of tasty pastries. Prefer something cold? The Gelateria offers a range of ice-creams and sorbets, while the Lounge Bar serves cool alcoholic and soft drinks, ideal for pre or post-dinner. In the evening the whole family can enjoy the entertainment, which usually includes shows and live music.
All rooms have WiFi, air-conditioning, mini cooler, satellite TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities and a safe deposit box. The majority additionally have a private balcony. Upgrade to a sea view room to be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Salina Bay and the picturesque remains of the ancient saltpans.
The hotel is just 500m from the centre of Bugibba. Here you'll find attractions including a classic car museum and a water park, which children of all ages will love. Wander 500m in the other direction and you’ll find Malta National Aquarium, spread over 20,000m2 and housing over 250 species. Sliema, with its 18th-century fort, can be accessed via a local bus (which stops outside the hotel) or by hire car. As can Valletta, the capital city of Malta, which is a popular choice for its preserved medieval architecture. The main attractions include the 16th-century St John's Co-Cathedral, the National Museum of Archeology and the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
