Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Malta Golden Sands

This luxurious hotel overlooks Malta’s stunning Golden Bay, on the outskirts of Mellieha. It’s well-placed for those seeking sunbathing, open-water swimming and sightseeing opportunities. Radisson Blu Resort is home to 144 rooms and 164 suites. Superiors have a generous 40m2 of space and feature a balcony, sofa bed and a TV with mirror casting. There’s even a kitchenette with a microwave and a small freezer. If you choose to upgrade to a standard suite you’ll benefit from 70m2 of space and a separate living and sleeping area. Large families or groups may choose to book a two-bed suite.

The resort of Buggiba is under 8km away and can be accessed by either hire car or local bus. It’s home to a picturesque harbour, a prehistoric Megalithic Temple and an aquarium. Valletta’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 21km from Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Golden Sands. Don’t miss the 16th century St John's Co-Cathedral, the Grandmaster’s Palace and the National Museum of Archeology. Once here, you’ll be just across the bay from Sliema, with its 17th century watchtower and 18th century fort. It can be accessed via a short ferry hop or a 5km drive around the bay.
