Beaituful views, Comfy bed but bad service

This hotel has everything it needs to be luxury hotel. The one (and most important) missing component was the service. At many points we felt like we didnt belong there, like we were scum. We were looked down on many times by staff and at one point found 2 of the reception staff sniggering at us when we were checking in. Now keep in mind, we dont look rough. We just didnt look ready to go to the red carpet. The breakfast needed work too, but the set up was beautuful with sea views and a place to sit outside. There was also a handy little supermarket at the resort which has most things you need. The ininity pool was beauful also with sea views and comftorble lounge chairs. We ate at the Italian resturant there, he food was good however the service exceptionally slow with rude staff again ufortunatly witch tarnished the experience. The hotel room was superb, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotless. The shower was amazing too. Topped with sea views on the balcony.

SHOCKING service!

I was excited to stay at Salini resort for my wedding (28th May - 30th May 2022 - you can check your records) given the photos of the resort on the website. I stayed in the Executive Suite (room 513) given that I was a bride-to-be so why not splurge? The resort itself was clean and the hotel breakfast that was included was lovely - hence the 2 stars. However, the service and certain hotel facilities were NOT up to scratch! Firstly, the service was ABSOLUTELY APPALLING! Given that I was paying to stay in the Executive Suite, I expected MUCH better service. Even if I paid for a normal room, I would've STILL expected better service from a hotel. I had decided to have a wedding run-through in my suite the night before the wedding. In doing so, I decided to get a bottle of prosecco to celebrate the occasion. Having rung reception to ask for the room service number, they provided the number to dial for the hotel lobby bar. I rang but there was no answer - presuming it was a busy time, I thought I'd try again later. I rang multiple times, but each time the phone went dead straight away, which I thought was strange. Having had no luck, I got my fiance to go down to the bar to get it himself to bring up to the room. He told me the reason our line kept getting cut when dialing the bar was that the bartender was on shift ALL ALONE - clearly overwhelmed with customers to tend to already down in the bar, he simply hung up the phone every time it rang (presumably from guests wanting room service!) The bartender should have phoned for help/the hotel should've had more staff on the rota! A day later (ON my wedding day), I phoned reception a total of THREE times over the span of 1-1.5 hours - please do check if you don't believe me - to clear away the prosecco glasses and bottle from the night before. I needed them cleared as my wedding photographer was on his way. The receptionist said that she'd send somebody - but nobody came. I called a 2nd time 30 minutes later - the same receptionist answered and was surprised nobody had come and said she'd chase this up. Still, nobody came so I called a THIRD time! Finally, they came but I couldn't believe HOW LONG IT TOOK FOR SOMEBODY TO COME TO GET RID OF THE EMPTY GLASSES! I was tempted to put everything outside the door, not that I should have to! After getting ready, we called for 2 prosecco glasses for a celebratory drink (bought our own bottle this time!) and they had the CHEEK to charge me 3.50 euros for this given their atrocious service earlier on and the night before! As if this wasn't bad enough, the safety deposit box in the suite decided to stop working! Feeling panicked I called reception and they sent somebody to fix this. Turned out they had to change the batteries - WHY WAS THIS HAPPENING IN THE SUITE? More stress on the wedding day! Also, I had booked a manicure and pedicure combo for 2, MONTHS in advance for that morning (9-11am). and shockingly there were only TWO nail polish colours to choose from - bright pink and dark red - none of which would go with my wedding look! The excuse I got was that they had ordered new nail polishes but they had yet to arrive since the stock was taken to the other Myoka Spa. Luckily, my friend had 2 pots of nail polish with her in her suitcase that would look better with my dress. The ladies painted our nails with OUR OWN POTS OF NAIL POLISH! This to me was UNACCEPTABLE given that I paid 200 EUROS for this and also, I booked MONTHS in advance (ample notice for ordering a range of nail polish colors)! I paid 200 euros as did not want to argue on the day of my wedding! Upon check out, I was asked about my stay - I said it was ok as I did NOT want to discuss the HORRID experience the morning after my wedding and ruin the post-wedding high! I'd appreciate a response to this review and would hope that there would be compensation for this SHOCKING stay! (Again, you can verify everything that I've said - I have receipts!)

My extended family has just spent a very enjoyable weekend at this seaside Resort. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy and enjoyed a lovely Seaview. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. The staff were always ready to help out when needed... Thank you
