Ideal for weekend break to Venice

We stayed here on a recent visit to Venice and the location is good for bus to and from the "island". You have to walk across the station, under a subway and the hotel is a block away - about 7 min walk from bus stop. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and all spoke english well, hotel room was impeccably clean and they served a hearty breakfast. (The scrambled eggs were cold though, but there were also boiled eggs and plenty of other food to choose from.) (We had dinner at La Griglia, around the corner - delightful place too.)

Positive: Hotel clean & staff friendly Poor: No kettle in room for tea or coffee, beds are very uncomfortable they are hard, breakfast is basic same everyday, would have loved just a slice of toast, however none available any day. We bought a kettle for the room at the local Spar in Mestre

Great location

Lovely clean hotel, great position for transport to Venice, bus stop close aswell as tram and train station. Breakfast room very well stocked and good selection of continental style breakfast including hot section. Room very spacious and plenty of coat hangers and draws. Safe in room and air-conditioning unit too Staff very friendly and welcoming you can buy your bus ticket into Venice for €1.50 per person from reception.
