South of Naples, Italy's pizza capital, Zi' Teresa is on the edge of the seaside town of Sorrento. The nearest beach is within walking distance, and the hotel is also within walking distance of the town centre, as well as local public transport links. Sorrento's port, marina and ferry terminal are all within walking distance, as is the centre of town, which is packed with restaurants and bars too. You can head inland to find restaurants that are more secluded. From Sorrento, it's a short train ride to Naples or Pompeii. Zi' Teresa has an outdoor pool that's set in tree-lined gardens and surrounded by a sun terrace. There's also a whirlpool section to relax in, as well as a rooftop bar with views over the coast. There's a restaurant in the hotel itself, and you'll also find a number of traditional Italian restaurants and pizzerias steps away. It's also a short walk to a selection of shops and supermarkets. During the day, you can explore the beaches along the coast to the east and west. For a popular beach, you can head to Marina di Puolo, which is a short drive from the hotel.
You'll find a selection of restaurants and shops steps from the hotel, and there's a supermarket 550m away. You'll also find more options if you head towards the bustling local square, Piazza Tasso, which is 500m from the hotel. The nearest beach is at Marina Piccola, 1.5km away. Further afield, you can spend a day exploring the famous villages of the Amalfi Coast. Arguably the best known, Positano, is 16km from the hotel. Set within a steep-sided cove, the colourful houses and winding streets are perched dramatically above the water.
The hotel's bars both serve a range of both local and international alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as light snacks. The hotel's restaurant is open for a buffet breakfast, as well as an a la carte dinner serving traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
There's a cinema a short walk from the hotel, as well as a number of communal gardens and parks close to the coast and the town centre.
Rooms at Zi Teresa all come with individually controlled air conditioning, as well as a balcony or terrace so you can make the most of the scenery.
The airport transfer drop-off/pick-up point is a 200m walk away from the hotel.

Angry and disgusted
We had booked this hotel months ago to stay from the 24th to 31st October. On the 20th October we were told they had decided to close early for the end of the season so we had to find alternative accommodation!! Very stressful!! Unbelievable that a hotel can do this and not honour their bookings.
What a gem
We stayed here for one night in September and what a joy it was. I booked through hotels.com and got way more than I expected. The room was immaculate. The view from the balcony spectacular. The staff superior. For a quick jaunt in Sorrento this place is fantastic. The pool area is nice. The water in the pool very, very cold. It's open from 10am - 6pm. You can't bring your own refreshments but there is a snack bar / bar there and it's full service. The hotel is a la carte. You pay for towels that you return upon checkout. 3 Euros. The rooftop bar is fantastic with superior views. Oh my goodness it was amazing. Keep in mind that you don't pay as you go for drinks or the pool towels. You handle that at checkout. The front desk staff helped with arrangements for a trip to Amalfi coast. Even though we had checked out they held our bags for the day. I can't say enough good things about these wonderful people. I will say this however, there are reviews of the restaurant across the street. The lines are long and frankly, not quite worth the wait. They did however, come out to the line with a glass of wine and some cheese. There's also a little store around the corner that I quickly ran to and brought back some beers.
Average Hotel that could be much more.
We stayed here for a family holiday. The hotel is what I would call average at best. The staff were all really nice which helped and most spoke good enough English that we had no issues. The staff and their politeness was the hotel saving grace for the review. The hotel was clean and central in town with only 5 minute walk to the centre of town and close to the train station, bars and restaurants. From our room we had a great view of Mount Vesuvius which for me personally was breathtaking along with sea views. There is also great views of this from the rooftop bar where I went each night. The downsides.... There was no kettle or tea making facilities in the room and was charged for a cup of tea. This to me should just be included.even basic B&B's have this. The shower pressure was shocking and for my wife after only a few mins in there the water went cold and never came back on warm. There was no iron or ironing board and had to get these from reception. If this was just a basic B&B, then fair enough, but as a hotel this should be in the room. We went to go in the pool and was then made to hire towels rather than use the ones we brought from our room. What difference this makes I have no idea, but it caught us off guard and we shouldn't have to pay extra for a different towel when we had perfectly good ones from the room. The windows are dangerously thin. Lucky our daughter is 8 and understood to be careful, but a younger child could easily smash through these with justva touch. The breakfast consisted of either eggs with beans, or eggs with sausage. Eggs were way too runny. Pretty much slop. They had the usual croissants etc too, but the cooked stuff I had wasn't really any good as far as I was concerned. Such a shame as a lot of the issues listed above would be an easy fix for the hotel to remedy and gain an extra star in the review.
