Super 5* place to stay.
Impressive hotel in stunning grounds. Really unique design from the ‘60s. First class food and service throughout. Very clean and an abundance of fresh towels and daily servicing without needing to ask. Worth booking a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - stunning! The bar and restaurant staff were delightful and the concierge and reception very helpful. Lovely little touches from the staff that reflects its status. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from Piazza Tasso central square. Tacos are very expensive so just walk the level lemon tree lined route along the coast. Very big and comfortable bed, gowns and slippers provided as you would expect. The one comment we would make was that the only English speaking channel on the TV was BBC World and you’re unable to cast anything to it from your phone. We’d hope to watch YouTube videos of Herculaneum and Pompeii before visiting. The private beach and outdoor pool don’t open till Easter. Highly recommended and hope to return one day.
Bella Sorrento
Amazing hotel new experience, new concept as it’s about architect of furnitures and tiles. The hotel has the best view to the sea. Make sure to book Sea view rooms with Balcony. We stayed at room 215 it so charming and breath taking no words can explain the view. Staff are so friendly. And welcoming.
Luxurious hotel, they will treat you well!
This hotel was fabulous! The views cannot be best and the room was large and very comfortable compared to the rest of our trip in Rome and Paris. We had a huge terrace to enjoy the sunset and even slept with the curtains open to wake up to the view. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, especially the maitre’d at the restaurant who made our dinner so special. He was all old-world charm! The food was delicious- dinner and breakfast (which was our favorite due to the view). The grounds are lovely as well even though we were there in the winter. The only downside is that it is not a close walk to the center of town (approx 20-25 min) and with the cool weather and early sunset, the narrow dark streets were not the best for walking. A taxi ranged from $18-24 back and forth to town which is what we did after walking back the first day. It would have gotten expensive if we had been there longer, but we only had 3 wonderful days. If you want to relax and slow down, this is the place!
