UNAHOTELS Naxos Beach Sicilia is in the village of Giardini Naxos in Sicily, with views of Mount Etna, and a short drive from the popular historical town of Taormina. Its buildings are surrounded by a garden area, and the hotel's own beach is steps away. The garden is dotted with both sunny and shady spots, so you can sit and relax with a drink and snack or enjoy soaking up the rays. There are two main outdoor pools and two shallower pools for kids, with one small water slide. The hotel has a beach bar and pool bar, both of which open during the day and serve snacks, pizza and burgers, as well as local and international drinks. The cocktail bar opens in the evenings and when there's a disco. There are two a la carte restaurants with outdoor seating for an al fresco meal. One is open for lunch and dinner and specialises in local seafood, while the other, an a la carte pizzeria, opens two days a week. During the summer the tennis courts are open; if you're keen to learn, you can hire an instructor. The hotel provides daytime and evening entertainment, which can be live shows or karaoke. During the day there are activities such as volleyball and yoga, and children and teens can join the hotel's kids' clubs, which organise games. There's an outdoor playground and indoor playroom for younger children. For adventurous types there's a PADI diving centre at the hotel. You can also book a massage if relaxation's what you're after.
The hotel beach is an expanse of sand-and-shingle, 100m from the hotel, with access via a boardwalk. Across the street there's a fresh food market to stock up on essentials. Giardini Naxos is the nearest town, 2km away. It's small and friendly, with plenty of beach-view restaurants serving seafood and places to enjoy a drink. It has a beach with a promenade, and several boat trips and excursions start from here. At the southern end of town, you can get a taste of the history of the area at the archaeological park and museum. There's also the small, partially restored SchisÚ Castle. The nightlife in Giardini Naxos is bustling, with bars and a few clubs. Most of these are along the promenade behind the beach, so you can have a view of the sea while you enjoy the evening. It's also possible to take a bus along the coast to Taormina during the day.
The hotel has four bars and one buffet restaurants offering international and Italian cuisine. One buffet restaurant is open for three meals per day, while the other opens for breakfast and dinner. There's also a kids' buffet option at lunch and dinnertime. Alternatively, you could dine at one of the ‡ la carte restaurants.
If you like to keep active on holiday, you can use the hotel's gym or take part in fitness classes. You can also play boules or darts.
Rooms at Una Hotels Naxos Beach all have a balcony or terrace. There's also Wi-Fi in rooms in the main building, satellite TV channels and air conditioning in each room.

Small room
Stayed here September early October in a room in the villas. Very small with a balcony that never gets the sun. Tiny wardrobe with one door and two drawers no other drawers so struggling where to put clothes and seeing as we went for nearly two weeks there was a lot of clothes. A table with TV on similar to a wallpaper pasting table ok for toiletries. A fold up bed in the corner was used to put clothes on goodness knows how we would have gone on if there was three of us.Small bathroom with tiny shower. Food was good but a bit like a canteen at times hot food wasn't that hot. Good beach and nice idea you have same sunbeds and parasol for your stay we went all inclusive so it might not be the same for all. Nice bar to go to in the evenings and entertainment was good. Gardens are beautiful and a few good shops nearby don't think I would go again.
A Wonderful Holiday
This was the fist time we had gone all inclusive so we can’t compare it to other hotels. We found the hotel very friendly and welcoming and spotlessly clean as the rooms were cleaned daily. The food was delightful, there was plenty of it and plenty of choice. The restaurant manager Nunzio was even better than the food, he made us feel very welcome and special, he is a real asset to the hotel and we will look forward to seeing him again next year. The pools were lovely although cold so we spent our time at the beach which was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect with a cafe and sun beds, umbrellas etc which can be reserved for the whole holiday and the back three rows free for all inclusive. There are plenty of excursions available. The only negative we found was the staff at the Olympus bar were not were friendly to all inclusive guests. The mosquitoes were a real problem too so repellent is essential. We will definitely be returning next year.
Great choice
You never know what to expect when you choose from a brochure but was a great choice. We went all inclusive. Had a great view of Etna from the room which was nice to wake up to. The rooms were clean and decent size. The air con was a bit intermittent. The mozzies got us most nights in the room. The food was great, excellent choice and Nunzio was excellent at greeting us each evening. The beach was really close and even though we didn't reserve any umbrellas there was always plenty of space. The pool was very cold so spent most of our time on the beach. Great location for excursions. We did Mount Etna 2900 and gorges, would definitely recommend, Etna was amazing. The shuttle to tourimina was good value at €5 return. Such a beautiful town, and some excellent views from the amphitheatre. All in all a great choice. Would definitely recommend.
