The family-friendly beach hotel is about 3 km from the fortress, the small lakes and the archaeological sites of Tindari, 60 km from Messina and 170 km from the Catania airport and 210 km from Palermo airport.This resort is a new building separated from a beach of fine, white sand by a forest of pines and eucalyptus. The resort perfectly combines a relaxing sea and sun vacation with sports and cultural activities. It offers a bazaar, a boutique, a multi market (open in the high season) and transfers to and from principal locations (ports and airports). The conference rooms provide a location for social and business meetings. Look it’s for Italian people as the whole place is Italian speaking simple as that We booked through BA who misled us totally and paid extra for fully inclusive which it isn’t . There is nothing around at all all entertainment which is all in house is in Italian . The food however is great considering it’s buffet three times a day Beach great only two sun beds though per family plus some other strange inclusive drinks which are all in a plastic or cardboard .No glass allowed and the cups are so small all a bit odd and the range of drinks or as they call them cocktails but there not rum and coke is not a cocktail ! Apparently it’s Italian all inclusive !! Even water is only available by the small cup !!! Madness BA really at fault not telling the truth on the web site one restaurant only and you can go the other one called the grill only once not including drinks you pay for those ! Kids clubs beach fun etc all In Italian Staff who speak English great others give you a wide birth as not Italian ! Won’t bother with a package from BA BA not point complaining they don’t care anyway To make it clear go there if you speak Italian and you will have a good time .

Beach The beach is always busy in the mornings. Much Quieter in the afternoons as I think lots have long lunches / siestas. The sea is clear and the perfect Luke warm temperature to cool off. Each room is allocated two sun beds and one umbrella. (That was between 4 of us). The same ones for the duration of the stay. There are some sea kayaks and paddle boards you can use early morning or late afternoon. Pool There’s one large deep main pool and two shallow kids pools. But you must wear a swimming cap (unless you’re bald!). The pool is mostly very quiet. Afternoons are busier. Maybe the sea is the preferred option being so lovely and cooler there. Food The food is generally very good. Always hot options but mostly cold options including seasonal vegetables, aubergine, courgette, etc A lot of seafood but always some meat too. An abundance of choice. There is also the Grill restaurant which is also buffet style but with the addition of the pizza oven. Alcoholic drinks aren’t included here but some lovely local wines are on the list. Drinks I have never seen so much single use plastic ever! And it’s also actively encouraged. The amount of plastic waste from that hotel must be phenomenal. I’m shocked this still happens. But it’s apparently quite normal in Italy. At the beach you can get a drink in a small plastic cup or a paper cup that holds about 100ml only. So it’s little and often and yet more waste. In the buffet, at meal times, soft drinks are limitless. But you must only fill the glass jugs. You are not allowed to fill up your water bottles. How strange. We asked at the bar to fill our water bottle. It wasn’t allowed. It had to be done with a small cup one at a time! Why?! At the bar there’s a list of drinks included and titled “for the foreign market”! The wrist bands, all residents wear, indicate if you’re all inclusive or in a soft drinks package. We paid for all inclusive but all our drinks (alcoholic or not) were in the small plastic cups. We weren’t allowed any drinks in glasses (as others did!) Consistently environmentally unfriendly. Bravo animation There seems to be a lot of entertainment and games on offer. They were very popular at the beach with the Italian families. But we weren’t encouraged to join in at all. I think I we were the only foreigners there, surrounded by Italians. I think my son and husband would’ve enjoyed the beach tennis or volleyball but we felt the animation team avoided us. We went to a show one evening but it was all in Italian so we left as pointless for us. Accommodation Our suite was quite spacious for our family. One double room and the main room with twin beds. One bathroom with a small shower. The hairdryer attached to the wall was smoking so we had to borrow from reception. Better to bring your own. In summary it’s probably a good hotel to stay at IF you’re Italian. We were misled by BA, that we booked through, that it was what we wanted. There were some friendly staff we encountered: Enzo the chef, Nula in the restaurant, Bernadette at reception.

Pros...very nice area especially main area with swimming pools, restaurants, large family room, hotel is very clean, rooms cleaned on daily basis, short walk through pines to the beach which has good access to the sea, even with babies, lunch and dinner choices are nice, lots of seafood, pasta, cakes and some veggies and fruit. Staff is nice even to other nationalities, no problem with almost anything and always happy to answer our calls Cons...shower is extremely small, there is a geriatric party 5 times per week meaning 21.30 till 24.00 there is really loud show for older guests located in the main building (I think it could be heard in Napoli). Breakfast selection is not great but sufficient. More fruits would certainly be suitable. All inclusive is something that needs an upgrade, to not have a wine in Italy included through the day is to me weird. Only very small selection of drinks is available so we went to local market and bought what we needed.
