This attractive resort hotel is located near the small town of Campofelice di Roccella between Palermo and Celafu on the northern coast of Sicily. Nice 'rich looking' hotel. Food selection good and with taste. Suituated on its own part of the local beach. Downside, no drinks kettle in the room and is isolated from any local other venues to purchase drinks etc from. Take jelly shoes to swim in the lovely warm sea as beech does have a variety of pebble sizes. There is a small daily charge for the safe usuage. Ideal for those that want to get away from it all and not be too adventurous to go elsewhere.

Deluxe room -awful site, no privacy on the balcony due to facing next doors foorpath

We stayed in this Hotel in July. The hotel it’s self is beautiful. It is isolated from any site seeing - nothing but the hotel. Food was fair to good. Agree with other reviews about standard of food. Not always as hot as it should be and lunch and Dinner very samesy. Most disappointing point given we were over 2 hours away from anything to see or do, the view from the room. Some sort of factory and a camp site next door. The people on the other site used the foot path facing our room, so no privacy. The factory is ugly to look at. No point sitting on the balcony. Could have paid a couple of hundred pound less and stayed in an indoor room with no balcony. This room and those along this corridor should be used as storage rooms, or staff rooms. Staff where helpful, when we arrived and given a room which had a spare bed instead of the seating area, (in all of the room pictures shows seating areas in Deluxe, with a table and chairs and sofa) they swapped the bed for a table and chairs. Only one electric socket which causes difficulty when trying to do your hair and charge phone. Raised it with the holiday Jet2 company, whose response was, you got the table and chairs after asking and this is classed as a deluxe room. No where in any pictures on any site, do they show you a room looking at a factory. Jet2 let us down for the first and last time. Would have expected more from Jet2 given everything else was faultless up to the room being unsatisfactory. There is supposed to be a rep from Jet2 in the hotel at specific times in the morning, went to the reps area several times including times not advertised and no rep available. The staff in the hotel speak very limited English. We just put up with the room till we got home. Jet2 complaints staff didn’t care that it had cost over 3k to be in an unsatisfactory room for a week. If they don’t change their response I will be booking with someone else for the next 10 holidays (2 a year for the next 5 years) shame for them to lose the business, given they could have responded so much better.

The Green Garden Hotel

The Acacia has a wonderful green garden. The hotel architecture is probably from the 70s with lots of green parts in it so it is part of the garden itself. Everywhere it is green with amazing plants, palms and Mediterranean garden. The hotel has certainly been renovated the rooms are modern. The pool is huge and nicely integrated into the garden area. The private beach is mostly sandy and after a few stones the you can walk far into the sea on sand. The staff was friendly and I want to highlight Marco the entertainer that brought in great evening mood and even managed the hotel guests to dance. The buffet food is okay and spendid. I would recommend a room higher up towards the Sea and pool side. The other side can get quite noisy with traffic from nearby autostrada and railway. Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot.
