Wonderful and welcoming!

We came as a family of five and we had a fabulous stay. The reception staff were so lovely and helpful, ordering us taxis and making us feel comfortable from the very beginning. The joining rooms were great, with a lovely view of the top of the nearby church (Basilica Papale di Santa Maria Maggiore) which was majestically lit each evening. The bells that ring at 9 o'clock also add a beautiful touch, especially when paired with its origin tale (it related to a lost pilgrim finding her way in the past and then ensuring that the bells were always rung from then on). There are lots of restaurants nearby and it is close to the Colosseum, Trevi fountain etc. I would highly recommend.

I want to know who gave this hotel 4 stars to ask them to change jobs! We booked with the "visit Lazio" program two months before and they told us that if we booked before November 30th, it was also valid for the period in which we were going or the second week of December. YOU DON'T DECEIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!!! We arrived at the hotel and it was too hot on the floor both in the corridor and in the room. We slept with the windows open because they don't have independent air conditioners... imagine with the chaos of Rome at night including garbage trucks and ambulances. In the room the condensing has made some mould. Cleaning is not the best, in fact there was dust even in the chandeliers and above all under the bed. i went to 2 star hotel which have more comfort than this hotel it was 130 euros per night flushed down the toilet! NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Italian Voglio conoscere chi ha dato 4 stelle a questo hotel per chiedergli di cambiare mestiere! Abbiamo prenotato con il programma "visit lazio" due mesi prima e ci hanno detto che se prenotavamo entro il 30 novembre, valeva anche per il periodo in cui saremmo andati ovvero la seconda settimana di dicembre. NON SI INGANNA LA CLIENTELA IN QUESTO MODO!!!! Siamo arrivati in hotel e al piano c'era troppo caldo sia nel corridoio che in camera. Abbiamo dormito con le finestre aperte perche non hanno condizionatori indipendenti... immaginate con il caos notturno di roma compreso di camion dei netturbini e ambulanze. In camera la condenza ha fatto della muffa! La pulizia non è il massimo, infatti c'era polvere anche nei lampadari e soprattuto sotto il letto. sono andato in hotel a 2 stelle che hanno piu comfort di questo hotel sono stati 130 euro a notte buttati nel gabinetto! SCONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

The staff is friendly, rooms are fairly clean, the location is super convenient and close to the Termini station. But, wifi was terrible, mostly non existent, water temperature fluctuated, and even though I overbooked an additional room and tried to cancel they were not able to assist with a refund. I'm sure there are much better places to stay in Rome.
