I am a 10 years professional photographer, one of my wife’s best friend got married and decided to get ready in this hotel. They did not allowed me to photograph the bride and the worst thing they did not allowed all her family members to enter the room, mother and father included. They did not mentioned to the bride that an authorization was necessary to do photos. I’ve been working all over Italy and Europe and such a shame never happened.

We reserved one night and had a room on the - 3rd floor overlooking the port. Very dated decor and mattress was old and could hear everything next door. Requested a better mattress and moved to the - 2nd floor for additional fee. Updated room and quiet. Staff was responsive and helpful. Definitely see how it would be very noisy in season.

Great location….. but that’s about it.

The location of the hotel is convenient for Salerno and the Amalfitana coastline. It also has a carpark. The staff are quite unhelpful unfortunately. Some are abrupt and rude. (I speak Italian so it’s not a language issue). The breakfast is average quality. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. The bed was nice and comfortable. The hotel is noisy as it seems to be popular for weddings & christenings etc which go on till early hours. The room had a large curved TV, but this is obviously for decoration only as the remote control didn’t work so you can’t turn it on. When you take the remote control to the staff they return it still broken to confirm that the TV is ONLY for decoration and not to be used. Before I used the shower I had to wedge the shower screen into position as the first time I used it, I assumed it would work, as this is supposedly a 4* Hotel right? Silly me! No! The first time the whole bathroom flooded with almost a cm of water. The only reason I didn’t give 1* for this hotel is that the bed was very comfortable, the location was convenient and there was a carpark. The hotel and staff really have to buck their ideas up and improve their service. Even for Italy it was poor.
