Great hotel within walking distance of everything in town

The hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to everything in town. The staff was excellent and so patient answering our questions. The rooms are a good size, clean, and the breakfast was great. Our room faced the plaza, which was nice during most of our visit but on Thursday night there was a large group of people arguing after the bars closed. I recommend the hotel but try to get a room away from the plaza.

Accommodations were clean, with enough room to keep us from tripping over one another or our luggage. The bath area was very nice; the beds comfortable. The service in the dining room and at the front desk was very good.

Great hotel ideally placed

This hotel has all you need for a great stay in Reykjavik. The beds are comfy, there is a fridge, kettle and tea bags, and you can get to the church in ten minutes as well as the harbour. Lots of places to eat close by. And you can see the northern lights. The breakfast is very good.
