Albatros Palace Resort

Albatros Palace Resort is within driving distance of the centre of the seaside resort of Hurghada on the eastern coast of Egypt. The hotel sits on its own beach, and you'll be able to enjoy coastal views from the complex as a result. Its architecture has a traditional Egyptian feel. There are three outdoor pools at the hotel, one of which is heated, and there's also a separate pool for kids. At the centre of the main pool you'll find a bar. There are also five other bars at Albatros Palace Resort, including a beach bar, terrace bar and juice bar. You can take part in aqua aerobics sessions at the pool if you want to keep in shape during your stay. The resort has facilities for a number of sports and games, including tennis, darts and table tennis. You can try out an aerobics class or relax over a game of pool. The hotel spa offers pampering sessions to help you unwind further. You'll be able to choose from a selection of hair, beauty and relaxation treatments, including manicures and massages. There's also a Turkish bath and sauna for those lazy afternoons. Albatros Palace Resort runs regular daytime and evening entertainment for all ages, plus it has a nightclub for over 16s.

As well as enjoying the hotel beach, you can head up the coast to find other beaches with access to the Red Sea. The area is popular for diving and snorkelling, and there's a water park a 3km drive from Albatros Palace for even more aquatic fun. If you want to do some shopping, the Senzo Mall is 2km to the south of the resort, where you'll find a selection of shops and places to eat. There are fast-food outlets and other international restaurants here. Sheraton Street in Hurghada, with its bazaars and bustling street life, is 17km away from the hotel.

The resort has six buffet restaurants. Each serves a different cuisine, and you can choose from Asian, Mediterranean, Moroccan, Italian, German and Mexican food. Local spirits, cocktails, beer and wine are available at the bars. You can also get bottled water and soft drinks, including non-alcoholic cocktails.

There's a daily kids' club for children aged 4 to 12. Activities include games and face painting. There's also a games room at the hotel.

All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning and Wi-Fi. You'll have a balcony or terrace and a safe to store your passport, cash and electronic items.
