Valencia - currency

The currency used in Valencia is the Euro (EUR).

Notes are €5, €10, €20, €50, €100, €200 and €500, while coins are 1c, 2c, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, €1 and €2. Most hotels, shops and restaurants accept credit cards, although it might be a good idea to take some cash along with you too.
