Madame Tussauds
Get up close and personal with your favourite celebrities and pay a visit to the iconic Madame Tussauds in London. Rub shoulders with stars including Benedict Cumberbatch, Adele, David Beckham and Usain Bolt as you browse the exhibits at this fun-filled museum on Marylebone Road.
To get to Madame Tussauds, take the underground to Baker Street before walking for a few minutes to the famous attraction. As you step through the entrance, you’ll be transported into a glitzy world where you can take pictures alongside more than 300 lifelike faces in 14 interactive exhibits. Walk down the red carpet at the A-List Party, meet stars at the Bollywood gathering and pit your skills against the world’s biggest sports stars before meeting the Royal Family.
After saying hello to waxworks of the Queen, Prince William and Kate Middleton, find out how the sculptors work and discover more about the life of Marie Tussaud, the founder who created scientific models and death masks in France before bringing her work to London. One of the most recent attractions is the Star Wars experience, where you can walk into replica sets from the films and even stand at the Millennium Falcon’s flight deck.
Before leaving, don’t miss the brilliant Spirit of London taxi ride, the 3D Super Heroes exhibit and the scary Chamber of Horrors. After your visit, walk over to Regent’s Park to relax with a picnic and explore the gardens, or hop back on the underground to continue your sightseeing tour. The Sherlock Holmes Museum is also close by.
