Club hotel Aguamarina
3511 reviews
Club hotel Aguamarina is an All Inclusive hotel on the north east coast of Menorca, near the town of Arenal d'en Castell. Surrounded by grassy gardens, the hotel is steps from a beach that's protected by a small bay. With gentle sand dunes and shallow waters, the beach area is a popular choice for families with small children. The hotel is built in a modern style with some details that reflect local Menorcan architecture. There are three swimming pools at Club hotel Aguamarina, as well as two separate kids' pools and a splash pool for toddlers. One of the main pools has several water slides, while in the main kids' pool younger guests can have fun on the mini slides and water fountains. If you're feeling energetic, you can join in with sporting activities including beach volleyball, basketball, football and mini golf. The hotel runs aerobics classes, or you can work out in the gym. When you want to relax, there's a sun terrace and garden where you can sunbathe. In the evening, the hotel staff put on entertainment for all the family to enjoy. These nightly shows might include live singers, acrobats, dancers and magicians. You can also get a team together and take part in one of the hotel's regular quiz nights. You can enjoy all of your meals at Club hotel Aguamarina's restaurants, and relax with a drink in the hotel's bars. If you'd like to enjoy a meal in Arenal d'en Castell, there's a wooden boardwalk that runs along the eastern side of the beach to an area with seafront cafes and bars.
Club Aguamarina is 100m from the beach and 850m from the centre of Arenal d'en Castell. Mahon, Menorca's capital, is 16.7km away. If you take a day trip to the capital, you can stop off at S'Albufera Natural Park along the way. It's near the town of Es Grau, and you can spot some of Menorca's wildlife here. The visitor centre details the species of animals you can hope to see, and offers guidance on which trails to follow through the wetlands, forest and dunes leading up to the coast. The historic island capital of Mahon is found on Menorca's west coast and is dominated by a 19th-century fortress with views over the harbour. The Fortalesa De La Mola has tunnels you can explore and a separate art gallery space. It leads out into Mahon's old town, where you can stroll through the mix of Spanish and colonial buildings to the Arch de San Roque, the last remaining part of the town's medieval wall.
There's a buffet restaurant in each of Club Aguamarina's two main buildings. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, choosing from a range of international and Spanish cuisines. The hotel also has a poolside bar and a lounge bar for soft or alcoholic drinks and light snacks.
The hotel has a kids' club that organises activities like crafts and water games. Kids can also enjoy a games zone, themed parties and a mini disco.
All the rooms are airy and brightly decorated. They all have a balcony or terrace, centrally controlled air conditioning and satellite TV.

Great stay!
Brilliant stay. Was a bit worried about some of the reviews but when we go there, we were happy. Stayed there from 18th June - 25th June with my girlfriend and my 7 year old boy. First off, the beach, WOW! Absolutely stunning, I would’ve stayed on that beach all holiday if I could! Food was what you would expect from an all inclusive, nothing mind blowing but fills you up and always a good selection. Entertainment, now this is where we have to be a bit negative. We stayed for the entertainment twice in our whole stay. First two nights were good but then after that, the speakers weren’t working properly (which isn’t fair on the acts) and you couldn’t really hear the singers or the acts that were on stage. Mini club is absolutely fantastic for the little ones, my little boy loved it! It also gives any parents out there a chance to have an hour or two to just chill out. Arcade room was very good. My little boy particularly like DIRTY DRIVING. It also has grabber machines and two motorbike games. The pools are brilliant (5 in total, one main one, then a “party pool” where there’s lots of music and they do aqua aerobics and water games with a little shallow bit separate for the little ones, then you have the adult pool (just for adults to relax in and then you have the main kids pool with little slides in, the water slides are brilliant, we didn’t get to do the mini golf (we totally forgot it was there until our last night!) Supermarket is literally across the road from the hotel aswell as a beauty centre and a cycle shop. Overall, very good. Thank you for a great stay.
Fantastic hotel and location
This hotel is wonderful! So great for families! The food is very good for an all inclusive. It does become a bit samy (as we find all all inclusive food does) but there are quite a lot of variants each day. It is a shame that there isn’t the option to sit outside when dining in the restaurants for the all inclusive food. There is a snack menu where you can sit outside 11am - 6pm which is really helpful if you dont want to eat during the breakfast, lunch and dinner times. We found dinner was a little on the late side starting at 7.30pm. Unfortunately ice creams aren’t included on all inclusive but lollies are. The view from the hotel as absolutely stunning with the bay faces west for a fab sunset! The hotel is set on a hill right next to the beach with easily accessible steps/slope to said beach. The beach is one of, if not the most beautiful I have seen. I’m long haul cabin crew so have been to a lot of beautiful beaches including the Caribbean. This is better! We paid £170 to upgrade to a sea view. Well worth it! The selection of 5 pools is great. There is a small adults only splash pool which we thought was a nice touch. The water slides are great fun and one of the pools with the kids slides etc was a big hit with our boys. All the staff are fantastic. Really hardworking and friendly. We dont usually stay at the same hotel twice but are seriously considering coming back again as it ticks so many boxes. If going self catering there are some great restaurants along the bay. There is also a shop next to the hotel which is extremely reasonable. Again, fab hotel! So much fun!
Decent hotel
We visited beginning of May for 2 weeks. Hotel was lovely and kept clean. Rooms cleaned everyday and clean towels. The views were spectacular! The facilities were good. Lovely kids pool which my children loved, nice park and the kids club was a hit only downfall was only 20 kids allowed in there for the size of this hotel should be more allowed in! The bar and snack bar very good food cooked by order always hot. Sometimes the queues can be a nightmare but it’s expected. Entertainment and food for the first 10 days was very disappointing, it was all catered for the Spanish pensioners. People should be made aware of this before booking! My kids were living on chips, had to go out to eat a few times do to this. Last 4 days entertainment was much better and the food was changed and much better choice. The area itself very quiet and not much to do outside the hotel. I would visit again but definitely not at the start of the season! All staff very friendly and helpful and the animation team were good with the kids
