Got a nice quiet room , perfect for small family had a great time there well looked after and food was very good. Service at reception was excellent from check in until departure , swimming pool a little small was the only thing i could fault

Decent hotel, excellent staff and TUI reps

We had an excellent holiday at the Coma Gran and would strongly recommend it for families (although I understand it's to be run by Jet2 next year, so not everything here may be relevant - please check). The hotel itself has both rooms and apartments. We had an apartment which had good facilities and was very clean and well-maintained. The only quibble I'd have was that you can't lock the door to the balcony, which we'd have liked to have done as our 3-year old was just big enough to open the door by himself. Of the shared facilities, the main pool and kiddie padding-poll were both as you'd hope (other than unheated, which while normal, made them a bit chilly in October) -our son loved the paddling pool, which has its own slides within it. There's also a very good climbing / activity-frame next to it, which he also loved (despite maybe being a touch young for it). Inside, the restaurant was good and had a wide range of foods for both breakfast and dinner. However, by far the best thing was the people. The Spanish staff, from reception through to cleaning, were always cheerful and friendly, and the TUI reps were just brilliant across the board. From kids clubs to evening entertainment to daytime activities, they threw themselves into everything (despite it being the end of a long season when we went), and their energy and enthusiasm was joyful and infectious.

Too busy but food was good

The food at the hotel was very good but the hotel was far too busy. The restaurant was so busy it was actually stressful. The kids club was always booked up so we never got to use it .in the week we were there the dressed up characters never came near the kids pool and I noticed quite a few crying kids as they missed out. The entertainment was terrible and not aimed at adults. The main pool was a real let down- just far too busy to be safe and I seen two lifeguard rescues in the week I was there. The town of Sa Coma was very run down, prob because of the all inclusive hotels. One end of the town smelt very poor. The beach was decent but 35 euro for two loungers was too much. Overall we couldn’t recommend this hotel or resort.
