It is just 10 metres from a long sandy beach located right in front of the hotel, and guests can also find a wide choice of cultural and entertainment activities just a few kilometres away. Son San Joan-Palma de Mallorca Airport is 65 kilometres from the hotel. Bright and spacious, guests will find a choice of comfortable rooms where to enjoy a restful night sleep after a busy day in the beach. OK-ish hotel, but with some flaws............

This is a rather large hotel that cater for the masses ( middle to upper end ). Prices, if one cares to compare, fall into the upper range for hotel prices in Port de Pollenca. Location: good , spitting distance to the beach at a quiet beachroad. Reception : at times a bit understaffed. The gentleman that checked us is did not seem to be interested at all. We were there in September , so maybe it's just the end of the season blues ??? However, not very professional. Rooms : Ok. We had a groundfoor room, meaning acces to the garden with seats and all, which was nice. Beds were good. Pool & garden area: looks nice and seems recently renovated. However, they have put too many sunbeds very close together. In high season I suspect one has to be really early to get a sunbed. Breakfast: Not top of the bill, one chef preparing all egg orders for a lot of people meant queues. I did not bother. One thing I really appreciate during breakfast is a decent cup of coffee. The self catering coffee machines available for that pours absolutely appalling coffee . Does the management of the hotel ever taste what comes out of those machines ? Relatively easy to improve, this one, I would think. A small investment would do the trick. But now not up up standards in relation for the prices the hotel charge. Breakfast staff and evening staff at the bar or outside were professional. All in all we had an ok stay here for a week, but will not be tempted to come back here. Unless they change their coffee machines.

Hotel Uyal can't wait until 2022 to return with family & friends.

I have visited Majorca for 27 years as a cyclist with friends. Pollensa has been our favourite base to cycle from and although we have stayed in several different of Pollensa's Hotels I was recommended to stay at Hoposa Uyal and I was very impressed. From the reception staff, to the cleaning team, bars, catering & everyone they were all excellent. The cycle facilities were top class with everything a cyclist could need. I look forward to returning in June 2022 to celebrate my 60th Birthday with family & friends as following this year's visit your Hotel is my Hotel of choice

Third visit

Oct 2021 | Susan C
This was our third visit to the Uyal; we had chosen this for a first venture abroad since Covid as we felt sure that both the hotel and the resort would make us feel safe, and this was exactly what happened. Our only complaint was the same as last time, the hanging space in the Junior Suite is very small – with 18 of those big wooden hangers you simply can’t fit all your clothes on to them especially as there is an ironing board and iron wedged in there as well. The very large bed is extremely comfortable and the room overall is lovely; a walk in shower is especially welcome. The staff are very friendly and it is always lovely to see the same staff there as the years go by. We recognised in particular three of the older male waiters. The bar inside has little atmosphere (that has always been the case) so we went to the sister hotel Pollentia, a very short distance away, most evenings especially as they had very good entertainment; we were however delighted to see again at the Uyal the excellent classical guitarist Mariano Miranda who, due to the cold weather and the small number of guests was playing for a while in the dining room as people ate. We ate there on one night only and found the standard to be excellent – the breakfasts are pretty good too.
