Good Hotel - Noisy Germans

The hotel , its amenities and staff are all good - the problem is the gangs of noisy drunk Germans at all hours of the day and night. S'Arenal is a German stronghold and didn't feel safe on the streets even during daytime. For future reference I will stay somewhere else.

We booked at this hotel last minute. Everything was nice but we didn’t expect the loud young Germans but was not a problem for us at all . The room was fine and cleaned every day.Food at the buffet was nice and surprising every night , me personally love the paella . Everything was nice . Stuff was nice and friendly especially Miguel. Maybe we go back .. !!!

Not for a family holiday

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful family holiday this is not the place to go. 90% of the guests are young German who play hard all night outside and inside the hotel rooms. They are friendly but very noisy, shouting from one balcony to the other and playing loud songs all night long. I can securely say I had not have a single good night sleep the entire time. The receptionists mainly speak german, some of them speak broken Spanish (aren't we in spain??) and some managed to communicate in english. The majority of them are approachable and they were nice changing our rooms half way through the week because of the noise. I recommend you choose the upper floors as they try to accomodate the young on the 1st and 2nd floors. The manager was nice and organised some treats for a family member birthday - a valuable courtesy. The cleaners are really good and kind and managed to keep the place tidy and fresh the whole time. The food is generally good however I would suggest some more variety of fruits. I have seen only 3 different fruit types during my stay. The all inclusive package is really good including different activities outside the hotel - we really enjoy them. Overall, if you are young and or a deep sleeper you'll be fine...the location, the activities and the cleanliness are worth the 3 star hotel. However, do not attempt this hotel if you trying to relax and have a quiet time.
